NISMO Australia has posted a few images of the new NISMO cars, but now there is a GT Academy car in the V8 Supercars series!

That's all well and good, but what does this have to do with GT6? You've posted this in the Gran Turismo 6 forum.

About the only thing I could think of that this has in connection with GT6 is if you're suggesting the car for inclusion in the game in the future - and that would be the Suggestions/Cars forum, and it's already been suggested anyway.

We have quite a large V8 Supercars thread in the Motorsports forum and the car has already been discussed in there.
