No, I mean Caruso's car. It looks like something that I would expect to find parked in a driveway out past Blacktown. It's like someone painting the lion-and-helmet on the side of a Commodore. The livery might one day be called iconic, but the Altima is a family car first, and the factory livery doesn't suit it.

Great, as much as I like Mark Skaife, the last thing I want to hear is him and Russell Ingall doing hosting duties for the Fox Sports Team.
 
I left to catch some 12H qualifying. This Super Test is a flop. It is good to finally see the cars after the break. Garry Rogers is cool and Jonathan Webb is just as tall as he looks on tv. The FG Xs look awesome. I'd say the Super Black car has the worse livery due to the stickers tacked on. Percats a close second.
 
LDM reckon they've got major sponsors lined up, so they're running an interim design for the time being, since they're pinning their future on this new sponsor and no doubt want some time in the limelight to themselves.

What livery is Moffat using this weekend? His is the only car that (as far as I know) we haven't seen.

Not according to Google Maps - there's a skid pan and a dirt track and not much else.

My opinion is that the only way this will get going in motion is if Adelaide abandoned the street circuit, which is a probability once the new regulations come into play, then that facility will take over,

Honestly, I think the only way that it could rival Bathurst or stand any chance of besting the Clipsal is if it hosted the Australian Grand Prix.

Lap record is a 1'29.2 by Lowndes. R.Kelly is .9 off that. There was cloud cover before 11am. The higher temps after Noon haven't helped.
 
Todd Kelly fastest in session 3. All 4 Nissan's in the top 7. Hopefully this is a good indication of the speed they will have this year.
 
I wouldn't read too much into it. There's a planned pace run tomorrow; that will give much more insight into the actual pecking order. For now, I wouldn't be surprised if Nissan are doing glory runs.

I never really liked the Nissan before but that wing makes it so much worse :yuck:. Volvo is still best for me :D.
 
The FG X's certainly don't have any excuses for cooling issues with that big snout on them. They are a nice looking race car though.

I like the Nismo Nissans but definitely feel they could look better with a bit more effort into the design. Huge potential to look awesome.

David Reynolds was so out of it in that interview with Rhiana Crehan, it had me in stitches. Reynolds is such a character. :lol:

I'm liking the coverage for the V8's already by Fox Sports, I was a bit skeptical about Greg Murphy but he isn't too bad so far. Hilarious question time with the drivers.

But Moffat, damn, strong words in response to Greg Murhpy's question about James Courtney vs Jamie Whincup. "He (JC) is really good with the lip, so he can keep up the talking and we'll just take him (Whincup) down."
 
I really just have to suck it up and get Foxtel before the V8's and footy season starts but being an apprentice, I'm in full tightarse mode.
