V8 Supercars: Round 2 - Tsukuba Wet *RESULTS*

Greetings Tsukuba Wet Fans!

With my son's help, I have finally been able to upload the last part of my Tsukuba race (laps 8 thru 12).

After spending over an hour last night downloading my 15 minute run, we found out that YouTube will only allow 10 minute video's. So I had to go back and just capture the last few laps of the race.

Anyway, you can see me pass the over-matched Honda Accord on lap 8, and then, after my blistering lap 11 (the 1.10.402) I pass the Honda Accord a second time on lap 12 just before the finish line. Yeah!

Sorry if my driving style is reminiscent of a drunken sailor, its still my best time. I ran a 14.59.472 that was much smoother, but it was after the deadline. I touch a little too much sand at one point but otherwise a beautiful lap.



If anyone is interested, when I get back from a business trip, I will post the first half of the race, though all the action is in these last laps. Though I do run a 1.13.xxx on sport hards (on lap four) before my pit stop on lap five.

Uploading video's is still new for me so you will have to forgive the fuzzy quality. Since youtube limits me to 10 minutes I have to stop the video at the beginning of lap 8. You can see its the same race though because you can see the best lap time so far as 1.11.775 (which was recorded on lap 7) as I run lap 8 in both video's.

G'day from Downunder,

I find the "Drunken Sailor" style is a perfect fit for this track, besides I think Praying Mantis, Dragon or Tiger styles are much overrated, even Monkey style is a bit passe.
btw, I may be able to help with your video uploading problems, pm when you get a chance and I will discuss a solution.
