Well, My month long vacation is now over. I have bit the bullet and got a job Server here in Westport. I must say for starting this vacation off on the wrong foot and losing someone I thought I would spend the rest of my life with, this has turned into a pot of gold in my life. I have made a good deal of friends in my short time of being here. Socailly I feel at home here because not many people are use to big city people in a suburban area like Westport. This is a tad on trhe richer part of America, mind you so there are the yuppies to deal with but anyone with a head on their shoulders can see right through them and their "Rich Bubble" they live in.
I do miss Orlando and my friends a lot. I also miss a job where I can sit down and post all day at, but good things always do come to an end. : ( With the side jobs and this new job I have, I should be able to put myself fully through school by January with all the money needed in the bank. I have to come up with $17,400 for tution and another $500 for tools. I am well on my way and just about 50% of the money saved up. I took my never-ending car search fund and put it into my school money, so I am at a lost for a vehicle that I want. That is ok though, because I plan on buying another project car to build when I am at school from start to finish. I think it will go hand in hand with what I am learning on a daily basis and will reinforce everything I learn. I am afraid to say though that about 70% of the people attending this college will be in their late teens to early 20's so I hope I get paired with someone who is as focused if not more focused then I am.
So vacation is over and like I always say, " On that note, let's get back to the program!" : )
