Try lowering your shutter speed to 125 or 60 and setting the panning to mode 3. That will give you an instant speed effect like nothing else when on replay photomode, but will keep the focus on the entire car
Other than that, I'm impressed that you managed to get the backfire from a car 👍 I've been trying to do that for almost a year now without success.
