Here's another from a different angle:

Bit of Opera House work, hey? Not bad - got the basic shape pretty right. No stairs at the front though - the water's there - but I'm guessing an accurate representation of reality wasn't what you were after.

I drive past that thing on the way to work (yes, over THAT bridge). Can't see it though.

If I get a bit bored on the weekend I might drag out the old treadly and digital camera and take some shots.

I'll be interested to see the o'le opera from vat_man's point of view.

The building 'faces' north looking across the harbour into Kirribilli on the north shore.

I'll try to remember to take some shots - it's an interesting building.

I posted a picture along with a series of other shots I took around Sydney with my new toy from the other side of Circular Quay (under the Harbour Bridge, actually)

Personally, I like the stairs - it's just that in real life there's a restaurant there, a bit of a flat area to look at the harbour from - and then a 20 foot drop into the harbour (do NOT swim there).

I'm guessing this is a piece of work inspired by, rather than a representation of, the Sydney Opera House, right?

Plugins Used: None, just added material (texture)...
Ploys: Yes, Poly count? To be honest, I didn't check (or count them..)
