Welp. I was playing the Spa Francorchamps WTC 800 event, the one hour endurance one, all great, nothing too bad. The 787B was a great pick for it. Wanted some credits, why not try this event? Looks like fun.

Anyway, 40 or so minutes elapse, when suddenly, my internet just abruptly disconnects mid-race. No rhyme or reason, it just dies on me. I freak out, I'm wondering what the heck happened, like, why now? And just as things were starting to build up, too. I even got into first place during the race, just briefly. Come on, game...

I restart the game, and, well, I gotta do it all over again. Oh how wonderful. I am just glad that my GT7 progress hadn't reset, cause that would have been a pain. My router has a habit of disconnecting at the worst possible moment, especially when playing GT7. It happened yesterday, too, but at least I was on the main menu when it occured, so nothing of value got lost.

What a waste of 40 minutes. Why is this singleplayer portion of the game always online?

Right, anyway, why not let off steam here? If you gotta vent about something that upset you or made you flip out, I wanna hear it.

PS. I don't know if this thread breaks any rules, so mods, feel free to close if I did something bad by opening it.

Yay! we got new menu books, and no events to complete them with?????
the only way I see to complete the books is by cheating and buying the cars
seriously what is the point then? this gets my vote for the GT7 Darwin award
I guess I can wait and hope to win the cars required with a wheel spin

I understand the frustration, but I'd invest in a better router if this isn't a rare occurrence and you can't identify the cause. There's plenty of other things to be frustrated about in GT7 without a router that keeps dropping compounding those issues.

Sadly, you do need a decent connection to play the game. I also understand the frustration, but little of it falls on the game.
