If you wish to have a Leaderboard time submission verified, here is the way to do it.

After you have entered your time in the database, click in the Unverified link at the end of your time, and complete the form instructions.

Then, go to the Verification Submission forum and post to the new thread generated by the Verification form submission, attaching your Xport/Sharkport or Max drive (.xps, .sps, or .max) replay to that thread. You'll have to use the "Post Reply" versus the "Quick Reply" method to have access to the Manage Attachments function, under Additonal Options.

Until the coding is completely worked out, please add some additonal information to your attachment post, such as "Formula One time at Midfield" so that the Leaderboard Verification Committee can keep track of what replay they are downloading.

If you have questions about or suspect a particular time other than yours, please post a new thread, politely in this Forum.

I just dont want to invest more money in this game... I'm not planning to buy any necessary devices to have my times verified. I'm keeping every replays in my memory card but cant afford to send it to you...

I just want to share the times I do on arcade mode - time trial, mostly with stock versions of some cars (N3 or S3 tires, no change in power or weight).

I have no way thinking of cheating (i'm 40 years old so too old for that!).
I recheck all my replays to check if I race within the "rules" edicted by the Gt forum leaderboard.

Can I submit them anyway in the leaderboard without having them (never) verified?

If not, can we post these times somewhere like a special thread for people who dont want to show they are the best but to show how good (or bad!) they are... :)
 
Anyone can submit times to the Leaderboard. However, if the submitter wants the time verified or if another driver queries a submitted time, then a replay must be provided.

In case of the latter situation, if the submitter cannot provide a replay, the time will be deleted from the Leaderboard.

If a submitter does not have the proper device to provide a replay (Sharkport/XPort or Max Drive) the submitter can make arrangements to send a memory card to either a Verification Committee member, or to a trusted member who can upload or email the replay to a Verification Committee member.
 
Hola. Perdon porque no se hablar ingles. Sorry. Soy de barcelona y me gustaria verificar mis laps de El Capitan y Autumring. Lo de enviar mi memorycard no lo hare porque vivo muy lejos de vosotros amigos. Entonces quiero hacerlo de la otra manera que explicais pero que yo no entiendo por el idioma. Espero que alguien entienda español y me ayude. ¿Que es el sharkport y xport? ¿Es para pasar archivos de ps2 a pc? ¿Existe en españa? Muchas gracias de antemano aunque se que este post posiblemente no lo conteste nadie.

is it possible to copy a replay saved on my memory card to a USB flash memory stick and upload it via that? Sorry If Im asking something dumb but I only recently realised my PS2 has usb ports and wasnt sure if thats what theyre for.

Thats my lap time and I have the replay which I would happily submit for verification via Xport, but no one seems intereseted in verification submitions any more. If youve got Xport Ill gladly email you the replay just to satify yourself.
 
cant we just verify our track times by simply taking a picture of the screen showing our track time and car info? it just seems cheaper and more practical than doing such a difficult thing for something as simple as a pic.
 
I want to verify my lap on the Nurburgring but my englih :sly: is not very god could somebody write me a pm in german what i have to do?
 
Yeah. I dont really have the money to waste on MORE media conversion software...but i do have a mass usb storagte device (in the form of a Cowon A2, which has wiped me flat out of cash) that can capture replays and a program that can convert their format (but only to .avi, as far as i know)....if queried, is there a way in which i can submit a replay captured on my Cowon??
 
Dang, I really wanted to post a time, I guess there was a catch. O well, if I ever can send a replay, I'll post some times.
 
Could I upload a video of the replay captured using my vidcap card onto youtube and just send you the link? or maybe the original file itself?
