Veyron Gag/Glitch???

Earlier today i was playing around with b spec when i finally decided to do the Nurburgring 4h race and call it a night, but when the race started one of the opponents turned into a generally modded veyron with racing sof tires...and a very perculiar transmission(3rd gear was nearly non existant, top speed appears to be sub 170)

Here's a video i recorded with my brother showing that the CT230R at the very end of the row magically turns into a super veyron when the race starts...

I haven't been back a 2nd time, after recording i played some PA all stars :lol:

I really feel this is some sort of gag, because out of ANY car in the game the fact that a fully tuned veyron just felt like showing up just seems too... Rediculous.

I would, but I'm watching "Duck Dynasty" right now, lol.
 
I've heard of glitches before where players' cars would change when you start the race, but never an opponent's car.

Do you own a Veyron like that in that save? It's more likely to be accidentally reading it from that somehow than coming up with it all on it's own.

Yes, i do own a black veyron, however it doesn't have any permanent upgrades bar weight stage one, and it does not have titanium exhaust. It does have racing soft tires and transmission but neither are being used.
 
Looks like your game is trying to mod itself. Bugatti Veyron with CT230R gearing and handling it seems. Should just be a bug, although it will be interesting if it happens again.

It completely changed to the veyron....the CT230R is gone. It is also not gearing and handling like the CT230R, don´t know where you have seen that.

The vid only shows its acceleration and shifting up to gear 7, but it is a nice glitch imo :)
 
As well as the glitch this also shows off the braindead AI once again, slamming straight into the back of the Skyline rather than passing everything on the left as anyone with half a braincell would do.
 
Not sure what it is yet, but it could give us insight on how GT5 pulls up certain cars for certain races.

Also experiencing another glitch, when pulling up certain events it will briefly say "15" instead of a gold trophy if i completed it. This is only like half a second, though.

The gearing is very short for a Veyron and it didn't seem to understeer very much into the first turn. The handling may be down to the tyres, but the gearing seems like it's taken the CT230s top speed and final gear settings.
