Anytime someone runs out of petrol it's funny because it's something you can easily avoid doing. But running out in the one of the world's fastest cars, being filmed, and then having the internet laugh at you is just priceless.
Heh, I get 11mpg at top speed (according to the on-board MPG gauge). Of course, we're talking about a top speed of less than half the Veyron's (in mph)...

Agreed. Not only is there a visual gauge in the car, but there's also a charcoal canister that soaks up fumes like a sponge and gives you a few extra miles of range. But even that comes after the gallon-or-two reserve left in the tank after the low fuel light comes on.
