veyron top speed

hi guys, i have been trying to tune my veyron for top speed and i can get past 282 on the ssr7... i dont have the ssrx so i cant see the proper top speed but is this a good top speed?

Yeah, 282 is pretty respectable, that's all mine would do also last year, 285 was the fastest I've ever heard of anyone doing at ssr7, but that was on the 2.04 patch, not sure on 2.08 and up. Route x will be faster because its flat, ssr7 is full of hills and the straights are not long enough to get wound out.

I have just tuned my veyron better and now it hardly hits 285 mph in circuit de la sarthe... thanks to the drag tuning bibles... i only used to hit about 278 mph max!

Nice, That's exactly where and how I started into dragging. If you do get route x you'll need to retune and stretch the gears out, you'll be getting over 300 there on the top speed test.

that is exactly what i want!! Because i've seen people bragging about thier buggatti's going over 300 and as soon as i get the ssrx i'll be one of them

And for in retuning the car, i'll need to make the front suspension high and soft and the rear to be low and stiff correct??

If you are tuning for top speed on the straight only then yes you want to raise the front and sink the rear but if you are tuning it to go as fast as possible on the entire track you need to sink the front and rear because if you don't then you'll spin out at 230mph as soon as you hit the turn.

Not bad, awhile back not to long after Route X first came out I had my Veyron going 303 but I highly doubt it does that anymore lol, I'd be happy with what you got right there

This was on patch 2.04, it ran the same again right after 2.08 was released. I may dig it out and see what it does now but I'm predicting the same.

Yeah most likely it will, the Veyron gets really tough to tune once you break 300, just trying to get 1 or 2mph more takes a long time and many tweaks.
