which do you prefer? small crappy looking vids or nice looking big files? i prefer big vid files cuz they look nicer. the drifting can be nice but i can't sit thru a crappy one...

yea. unfortunatly there are 56k users and they make movies that are really really bad quality and 5mb... they're good vids but the sacrifice is too much...

I made my 20+MB videos when I was on a 28.8 modem... it's doable. :) Hint for modem users: when you face a big download, use a download manager like Download Accelerator Plus or GetRight, which allow you to resume a download if it gets cut off. Then, leave the computer on at night while you sleep. When you wake up, your download is done. :)

I used to download 100+ MB files on my modem... I don't wanna hear any complaining. :p

hehe, me too, I used to download 100+mb movies and whatnot on my 56k (that actually connected at 26.4) It took FFOOORREEEVVEERRR, but it was do-able. I don't think I could ever go back to that though..not after using Cable for the last 2 years or so.:D

yeah same like me i use get right & u can easily change thier speed from 1 to 4 sagment so it make it fast ... btw i use stream so i can download fast but not all files ...:)

yeah I would like big mb file movie files but the only problem is after making the movie...where are you going to put it:irked: For me I don't want to pay anything so I just use free hosters to host my vids but it's only a maximum of 5mb.:(

i hate the low quality vids. it just makes the drifting look bad because you cant see all the details. i try to make my look as good visually as well as the audio...most of my vids end up being 20mb+, but they are worth it :D

Agreed, the size is definetely worth the cost. If you can't see what's going on, you can't really appreciate the drift. All you see is a blur and a puff of smoke, then the "car" is gone. So far I make all my videos VCD format (about 10 megs per minute). Seems to be a pretty good balance between size and quality.

audio is also an important point... i'm not a fan of "initial D" type music but it's all a personal thing. but the car sounds should be in there below the music. makes the vid better. or edit sound from real cars .. when i get my video editing setup for college i'm gonna make some wicked vids. sounds + effects + quality. unfortunatley it'll be for cable users... sorry modem users, i'm a quality whore.
