The sense of speed in that lap is just unbelievable. 
My best time at the ring in arcade mode was a 5'25.194 (not sure if this is the exact time) with a Formula GT in automatic transmission without ASM or TCS, with a DS2. I'm proud of my lap, but you're just at another level.

That is the most unbelievably awesome run I have ever seen. I thought I was good with 100% completion, acing all Missions, only need a couple of more gold licenses and finished first place in all F1 races using an LMP car.
But after seeing that run I figured I shouldn't waste my time playing GT4 anymore. I know how they said you did it by using the brake only and such, but who gives a crap. That's not cheating. That's pure skill.
I'll never complain again about how weak the AI cars are. GT4 must seem pathetic to you. I'm glad you're not doing the AI programming.
I can understand how you keep the speed up, but I can't figure out how you keep it on course. My LMP R8 Audi was bouncing all over the Nurb at top speed in rough spots no matter how I tried to set the suspension damping, height, spring rate, etc. My steering thumb can't react fast enough to compensate for the course unevenness.
I wish you would run some more tracks and post videos. I really enjoy watching that video.
Some questions:
Does the brakes only method work well on ice tracks, dirt and wet too?
Does it wear out tires faster in Sim mode?
Do you think you could go faster in an F1 car that is lighter with less HP?
How does it feel to know you can EASILY beat any GT game before it is produced? (that must be a bummer)
All I can say is everytime I think I've seen something I thought was impossible, people like yourself show me that the term impossible is only a state of mind. Thanks for the Nurb run beyond the impossible. Wow!

the "braking technique" people generally say after seeing my videos is quite important i guess. In some cars that give you too much oversteer while hard braking towards a corner´s entry, its quite important that you get the car in your hands, before entering in the corner, and also inside the corner. By braking/accelerating at the same time and sometimes, both fully aplied, i guess that u can remove that "instability" for some time, so your car will feel on rails. Some people don´t like that technique, as there are many driving styles over there, but i can tell you that i do that on most of cars, because my style demands that thing, altough i can drive with right foot normal way. Maybe your style is the same as mine so you can do it too to help your driving!
The F1 car in arcade mode is surely a beast, and also faster than the minolta itself. I have to put myself into some more runs and try to get a 4'40 laptime in the F1 car at nurburgring on arcade mode, as i know it is possible, and maybe even a 4'39 after some good mileage. In GT mode you can´t do much as the car is not that much powered, but you can drive sweet laps yet. 👍
