No, you wouldn't.

With all due respect pulling that same lap in that same car would absolutely scare
the **** out of you so bad that you would lose 15 pounds, and I'm NOT kidding!

Even if you think you could handle it, your survival instincts would say otherwise. You would have such a high level of stress that you wouldn't be able to do more than T1 like that....hell getting air at Flugplatz alone scares most people....

:)

Yeah surely! phisically is impossible, for a human to do that lap in real life. :)

I agree with you but u didn´t get the point i said, i said that i would risky myself into that, even knowing i wouldn´t do that surely, just for the feeling, and i wouldn´t be afraid. :)

that is one f-ing fast lap......could you emagine the strain on the body from those high-speed sustained corners at those speeds??!?!?! im not sure i would do it in a prototype, but sure as hell, give me a DTM car and ill drive that thing untill i have no tires left on the rims......

of, very nice job through Adenau Forst.....i see so many people either miss-judge the tightness of it, or completely miss it all to geather and go through the grass.....

I for one race Japanese Import cars, I would go to the Ring with my Nissan 300ZX (tuned) and do it as fast as i can, cause that exactly what i do at Infineon, dispite the lose of my Mitcubishi Eclipse, in a crash with 3000GT I have no worrys.... hell i live for that kind of stuff....

ive only raced karts, though not professionally......in one of my races i was involved in a 4 car pile-up (my breaks failed) inwhich one driver broke her arm......i ended up winning that race....another i was in at a track outside Toronto, i started 4th and finished 5th after holding 2nd for two laps (i wiped out at a hairpin)............thoguh, my real passion is flying,so much more freedom in the sky :p

either way, if its fast, ill most likely enjoy it :D

i´ve been iddle on this combo since ending june, so i got back last weekend just for a quick ride...don´t remember if that was in last weekend or in the other past one.

I´ve had 2 very good sector times, now driving the DFP, seems alot easier than in DS2, altough i have to remain like a crazy to go that fast in the dfp now, too much quick movements into a single second, its a very good experience.

My T1 and T2 were alittle faster than in that my 4'48 lap, i´ve got 30.3 in T1 and 52.7 in T2, couldn´t repeat in the further Tsplits because i just missed atention, but im believing of a 4'46 soon with alot of effort and reckless driving. Not really easy, but its possible. :)

That´s my only goal for GT4, after that i get that, i can just stop to play GT4, but i won´t give up meanwhile i don´t have it. And i won´t also stop with GT4 after geting it, if i get. :)

I was also thinking, while i was playing, about the real limit for a single lap there, in lap time. I couldn´t get a conclusion about that, maybe even a 4'42 is possible somewhere else, its hard to think about it, but i´ve seen too many scary things during my GT time that i can still believe about it, in a perfect lap, like a lap in heaven.

4'45 is a lap that would make me feel hugely happy, and also finished with this combo, but surely its not the limit. There´s always a way to go faster, no matter how fast or good you were, you could or can go faster anyway.

So i can´t just make a point of a limit lap, maybe 4'44 is even in the lane, the problem is just to see it, as after a kind of laptime, its like to see dark room ahead, that you can´t just see where is the wall ahead you, the real limit, so hard that you think its almost infinitely possible to improve.

This is one question i will be always curious to know. But surely i will never get the answer. Maybe a tip, but not the answer itself.

Hmmmm that link to the replay is dead... I'm quite new to this forum so I may have missed it when it was first posted.... Anyone care to point me to some direction to get this vid?

Yeah the link is dead And I would love to see it. Maybe you can ask Jordan to host it. But I want to see it, so see if you can do anything about it veilside

That's A very clean and extremely fast lap you got there and you could do a little better like you said but you almost got a perfect lap and to do a better lap than that will take a while 👍

if i were you i now directly would change the text above yr avatar in 'ring flyer cause you truly deserve that title. Awesomeeeee lap there, wow!

 👍

What the 🤬 🤬 🤬 🤬 ?! You didnt even brake on half the turns! Did you do that AT or MT?

veilside, that was quite literally awesome.

I honestly thought I was good at Nurgbergring but what I watched there is something else, I have a long long way to go!

Good work 👍

Hehe thanx, yes i use MT, i think since i was 7 or 6 years old, when i started racing games, i never used AT really. MT is the way to go, the fun of driving is to change gears yea. :)

Hehe i have a time of like 6'51 there, from my first week with GT4, this has some 5 months or 6 ago, since there i didn´t even touch that test, maybe now i can clock a 6'47, but for a first week with GT4 seems a good laptime, since that in that time, it was the world record, so after some time of course, people had beaten it.

But i believe nowadays i can improve alot of that time. 👍

Cool, well ive just read some of the stuff in thread very interesting, i didnt realise you could upgrade your car in the race, hehehe so i gave it a go, 5:46 now, :)

Still could improve a bit there though, i think i could get it down to 5:30 by the end of the month hopefully after analysing your video for some time!! heheh!!

I would like to see you give the license another shot (s!6) see if you can come up with some more impressive times!!!

I started with the same time attack today but first I had to win that Minolta Toyota than after few intense runs I managed 5'00.258 in acrade mode with upgrade power, reduced weight & RSS tires. I can really appreciate how quick veilsidebr was going after todays attempt. Although I'm some 20+ seconds away from veilsidebr's time, I hope to have that gap reduced soon but its easy said than done so I'll keep posted on any decent progresses.

veilsidebr, as jase86 has previously mentioned in his post I would also love to see if you could re-do the S-16 license and see if you can make an improvent on your last times. If you could really manage 6'47's or even 46's I'd love to see that replay as I'm finding bit hard to get it quicker nowadays. Its really become test of my patience as you really need to stitch together some perfect secotor times to get into those times.
