OOps, 2010. I didn't load 2011 yet.

The motion is in the next video. It would have been kind of hard to focus while the thing was moving. this was more a dramatic racing video featuring Fanatec equipment in action.

(puts newspaper down) "I shant be buying a CSW until I see a review with full motion. hmmmph, quite right" (turns nose up and reads newspaper in disaproval)
hehe jk

If you follow my build, this really isn't that expensive. Most of my budget went to the D-box. If you're creative you can replicate a lot of this on the cheap. Just need to plan and plan some more. But it can be done. :)

Yeah you can replicate a VR3 with a R Seat, it's just missing the "V" and "3" and a DF-GT with a BMW sticker will get the job done...

Not quite the same, so actually yes it is still rather expensive who you kidding :)

Jealous? Why would I be jealous? Shut up, I'm not jealous!

Ok fine, I'm jealous. You must be pleased with how it turned out? I haven't read the thread yet, I've literally only watched the video and now I'm posting this so please ignore this question if it's already been asked or answered and I'll edit my post accordingly once I've read through: Do you have any plans for future upgrades?

Edit: oh of course, you have your build thread. I'll go look through that.

Yes there are plans for future upgrades. The chassis itself is done. I'll consider the club sport shifter, but the TH8 is just so fine as it is I don't know.

The only thing on the chassis that actually will be upgraded with be the seat. I'm going to couple the D-Box with a Ultraforce sims GS4 seat. If you don't know what it is then definitely google it. I've picked the brains of some people that have it and they say when you use your motion and add the seat its pretty awesome. It adds the G forces missing from motion sims.

After that at some point I'll do a 4 or 5 projector setup with a curved screen from Northern Flight Sims.

As that point I'll put my screens I have now up for sale. :)

But in the meantime, probably for a year or so I'm just going to race. Like I said in a couple months I might add the GS4 seat.

Sometimes I wish I would have kept my triple projection setup, but the 720p just bothered me too much. At that distance even my 1080p projector bugs me. Maybe one day when we've got 2400p or whatever projectors I'll explore it again. Great setup overall, and I'm jealous that the 720p doesn't bother you, I wish it didn't bother me.

Hmmm don't know why it bothers you but maybe you're more sensitive but I've had several people over to try it and they are impressed with the picture. You can see in the video there isn't any screen door or artifact and the picture is really clear. But all people are different. At 1080p I don't understand how you can see the pixels. Maybe you're spiderman. hehe

Yeah, I might be super sensitive, I dunno. Just like some people see things like screen tearing yet I've never experienced it, maybe something with my vision is extra sensitive to computer screens. For the four or five days I had my projector setup active, I had people come over and they all said it looked awesome.

Like I said, enjoy it, I really am jealous that I couldn't handle my 720p setup, I wish I could have.
