If you want to see the new YouTube...

- Open YouTube

– Windows:
– Ctrl + Shift + K (Firefox) // Ctrl + Shift + J (Chrome)

– Mac:
– Shift + Cmd + K (Firefox) // Alt + Cmd + J (Chrome)

– Enter the following string in the little debug console thingy:
> document.cookie="VISITOR_INFO1_LIVE=ST1Ti53r4fU"
(hit enter)

– same shortcut as above to close the dialoge box

– F5 / Refresh YouTube

If you want the old design then you have to delete the cookie.

Looks nice . My resolution is enormous and that's why there is a lot of blank space to the right and left. I like the new larger-but-not-full-screen player size option.

I don't get anything after entering document.cookie="VISITOR_INFO1_LIVE=ST1T i53r4fU" in to the debugging console.

I don't know what to tell you. Don't miss the second quotation mark at the very end, I missed that the first time I tried and got no results.

Here's a view of the larger-but-not-full-screen player size option as previously mentioned.

(love the video comments as always, you knew it had to happen )

I hate when websites change the locations of things just or the sake of it. Nothing was wrong with the first ever YouTube, all they had to do was make the buttons look newer every now and again but instead they put something that was on top on the left hand side, wow!

I think they are trying to take advantage of new widescreen since the old since was catered to 4:3(1280x1024, but mainly 1024x768(yes the size I had when I used Windows ME)
