A friend of my is in amateur leaque for the viper team oreca,in the series races he skipped a few races because a wanted the car of his choise. Now could he just race that skipped races or must he enter the series all over again????

I believe once you have won the series then thats it you get the credit for doing that, then you can go into the individual races and complete them - I think.

As long as you complete all the series it doesn't matter if you've skipped some individual races using the save & reload. You can, for the sake of completion, go back and do the individual races later on without having to start the series again.

It's funny you should mention it, I only just went through today and finished off the last couple of amateur series to get the Oreca. There's still a few individual races that I'm yet to complete, but I have the car at least.

You have to win each race to get the credit for finishing it, i'm almost certain.

Oh there must be something wrong with my GT3 then.. I have a number of series for which I have a gold.. and I haven't completed all the races.. And I also own a Viper Team Oreca thanks to my successful completion of the amateur league.. Even though there are several races in there that I haven't finished.

Say for example you came first in the first 7 races of the series. You could quit and you would still win gold on the series due to your lead on points. You can then go back and race the last three races individually at any time you like to get the last of the gold medals.

sorry, Chaos95 - didn't explain that very well - as DQuaN and others have said, you can get the car without doing every race. I meant that until you have done all the races in a series, it is not truly completed - ie - you will not get a cup for unfinished races just because you won the series overall. Hope that makes sesne - blame it on Friday afternoon and the pub calling me :dunce:

You have gold for the Series Race, yes, and you need that to win the prize car. But to get 100% you will also need to run the individual races that you skipped and win those as well, one at a time or as part of a re-run of the series - either way.

For sure, and that's what I'm doing at the moment. :)
