Viper Paint Question

Hey Guys! Has someone else tried this???

Last week I bought a '02 Red & white stripes Viper... I painted it blue, and I expected the stripes would not be harmed... but they did... :(

My question is: Will this happen to the other Vipers on the game (GTSR Concept and '99 Viper???) :confused:

More than likely, yes. This really saddens me because I was very much looking foward to the return of the Blue w/ White Stripes GTS.
 
Happens with the Shelby Cobra too, and you lose the Silver Paneling off of Veyrons when you paint them as well.
 
i still dont know why PD stopped the blue viper with white stripes?, ever since GT2 they didnt do it

i do want a blue and white stripe Viper GTS

Did someone try taking the color from say a Ford GT with stripes and painting the Viper with that?

You can't use a stripes Ford GT color, can you? If I recall correctly, I purchased a one with blue & white stripes and it didn't give me a color.

The same goes for buying Viper paints with stripes, you just don't get any chip for the paint. I was really looking forward to have a blue-white Viper GTS in the game.

PD pulled off the blue-white Viper as Dodge offered this colour to the first spec of the Viper GTS only. Don't know why, always wanted a blue-white Viper GTS since the first day I played GT1 shortly after its release! :D

Too bad! Imagine a paint chip with built-in stripes/color effects! Oh well, that could've been really cool... :indiff:
 
Why doesn't someone make a comprehensive list on which cars keep/lose stripes after painting :), I would make a list only im very very lazy :p
