1. Welcome to GTP forums!
2. Good drag setups take a long time to make. Because of that, very little are shared with the public. Try to familiarize yourself with the settings and what impact they have on your car. But here's one tip I have for you in the ACR. Launch in 2nd![]()
thanks and also if i max it and mess with the suspension setting and launch 2nd gear will it still be a good drag car?
trading 100hp viper for a drag tuned vspec

Go find one in the tuning section of the forum man, there are not many but there's more than likely one for the car you're looking for.
He's not asking how to tune one rather if someone can give him a setup.![]()

What good is a setup if you don't know your way around the garage? IMO I'm against sharing whole tunes whatsoever. Never once used a tune from this site or any sites. All my tunes are my own. I'm all for putting people in the right direction but throwing whole tunes at them...
"Give a man a fish, feed him for a day; teach him how to fish, feed him for life". Same concept 👍
i have that quote in my profile.....hmm

It's a good saying... and it applies to this situation![]()
What if the lake run out of fish? That is what have happened with gt5 tuning, people are thaught wrong, since the "elite" refuse to share what they really know...What good is a setup if you don't know your way around the garage? Well if he so happens to know nothing about tuning then what would be so wrong about giving him a completed setup so he can look through the different components and get an idea of how to tune a car?
I know the first time I looked to tune a car there was no way I was going to make an improvement in the cars handling or anything for that matter but make it worse, so cut the guy some slack and let him learn from an experienced tuner.
Well, theres only a couple of people that knows about tuning and make competitive tunes them selves. Rest of the people are those that take advice from others, and experiment with setups from their friends etc. If it werent for gtplanet and some draggers online, i wouldnt have made any tunes what so ever...
GME have a ACR tune though, just need to look at GME thread..
Okay, unfortiunatly, im still a rookie, mafia and those are pros, and i have raced them as well. They know what they are doing so to say. On the other hand, im not aiming to beat the pros/teams cars either. One benefit being in a team, is that secrets and good advice can be shared effective. All my tunes are original but I just race whoever I run into so I don't really know how good I am. I would like to get some of the "elite" here on GTPlanet together so I can actually see how my tunes rank compared to you, slump and mafia.

Yeah ok, huh, i prefer to be solo, because you have to act in a certain way to be in a good teamYea, I'm thinking of joining a team but it's kinda hard too see what's available lol
Not everyone's like you. I know if someone gave me a 1500hp Supra and told me to go street racing, I wouldn't care to try to improve my car since I am beating everyone. But once you start losing then you are looking for improvement.

GME's tune just doesn't seem right they have a high front low back and very stiff back spring rate. I'm not the greatest tuner but that seems backward in my opinion
DaLightninRacerYea me too but remember they are just basic tunes. GME keeps the good ones for themselves.
Talking about good tunes what kind of trap speed can the ACR have?
Btw I do know that it isn't about top speed but it is nice to have a number to compare too during tuning.
Well, as cooldude stated before, this isnt regular setups. But they work. You can either try GME settings, or try the traditional suspension settings. Thing is, if you have high front and downforce pressing the rear down, you gain a couple of kmh, and therfore you can shorten your gears even more = faster acceleration. I still use the traditional settings though, or commonly used. Appart from the suspension, the GME gearing setup for the ACR is similar to what im using, so its cool.GME's tune just doesn't seem right they have a high front low back and very stiff back spring rate. dr_slumpCa. 246mph at the end of the tunnel.
Wow I'm off I can just hit 243 right at the end. Back to the drawing board
