I would I prefer the calm online game play rather then the being killed after two seconds of online mode in mw.
 
Agreed on BF being a much nicer game to play online! much prefer the fact its more strategic too rather than race to kill as many people as you can in the first 10 seconds.


Had planned on tuning a load of drift cars tonight... then as soon as I came out of the seasonal races, a few high end cars were in the UCD.... there goes another 7 million then! :guilty:
 
Exactly! I much rather snipe and try to stay unseen rather then see who is the first person to reach a 20 kill streak.
 
Lol, I'm one of those other guys, that run around for dear life and try to get as many kills in before getting shot myself.. I hate you sniper guys!! lol.. But still loads of fun though!

I have some questions about VDC2.

since there are 31 registrants (up to this point) and assuming there will be more people that will want to enter the competition, how do you plan on segregating all the participants for this event since we obviously wouldnt fit in one room?

how will be the judges be able to watch our runs for qualifying since we dont have enough to judge?

how would you determine who makes it to the top 16 (especially if you have numerous ties in regards to scores)?

If we were serious, at least 10 people will drop out.
 
And if not, just hold two qualifying sessions to drop down to the last 16.


It doesn't really matter how many are registered really and participate.

You just hold as many qualifying sessions as needs be until you come down to the last 32, then another two qualifying sessions to get the top 16 which then go head to head in twin-battles.

That's the way I'd run it anyway :)

Yes but the problem with that is. We had this many last time register and only half ever showed up.
 
31 people shouldnt take about 2 hours or less to qualify. and it could be coordinated so that euros qualify first since they are ahead of us, and then depending on where you live the rest can be split so that no more than 12-14 people in there with judges or less.
I know IRL we split up our group in proam in half and have a group one time and a group two time. If you dont make it in time, better luck next event.
