Yeah, they keep talking about this "chat room". The chat room is called 'Racing Lobby' and we aren't racers soooo... that's awko.

But, is the car list going to stay the same? Low hp on Hards is like Mooooo!

Ours is too... apparently it's wrong to share some stuff with our teammates in OUR team thread (like we have sooo many places to do it). 👎 This starting to feels like some prison-like forum :indiff:

The team threads may be "your" threads, but this is Jordan's site.

There are other sub-forums at GTP other than the Drifting Teams & Meets section. Want to post some drift videos? Why not here, and just mention it in your thread with a link to it? Want to post about RC cars? Okay. Scale models? Okay.

If I were to head to the book store to buy a cook book, I'd expect it to be in the cooking section. Not in the Religious Studies section. Occasional off-topic comments are fine, it's when there's well over a page of things with literally nothing to do with drifting in GT5 that it starts to become a problem.

Well, if you want to be smart and take the literal name, I don't see how this massive section of the site can be so easily ignored.

Best idea would be to copy pasta the OP to another new thread and get this deleted. People just dont get it...

I am coming back on september 1st from my trip to my old country, Would I be able to compete if I miss the first event (only if its before Sep 1st)?

Anyways... Shiro's got a point, if I miss R1, will I still be able to compete in the other rounds?

With VDC you can miss any round. I always leave it up to you guys. You will fall behind in points but if those dont matter then we are okay. This tims around i am NOT allowing people to qualify for points. People who qualify must be able to make it main event day. If you know you cant then no points will be awarded.

That's a solid change. A question has been asked though and I really want the answer so I'll ask again.. Is the HP limit going to stay? I think it was 500 before but I don't remember cuz I was only running an FC anyways, but now that I'm a more skilled wheel drifter I would like to build another, more potent car.

I think I'll go with my 405hp BMW Z4 '03 :D... if it's still going to be allowed.

Everyone will be able to enter soon, Spank will say when the registration is open again. 👍

Work to be done to the thread this weekend. Looking to get registration up and ponits chart redone. This season is only going to be 5 rounds.

Would it be more fun if i changed it up to just one car per round, that way winner is up to the tuning. Or keep the same?

Just keep it the same.. it would be a lot of unnecessary work to tune a new car for a new course over and over again.

Is something has been reccomended before. It would bring a new challenge to all participants. I like the idea and would get some free time on saturdays and sundays for this.

I don't know... Not everyone has the ability to really tune their own cars that often. It is a good idea but it's a drift comp, not a tuning comp.

I'm open to the idea but it may not be best for everyone
