if thats the case is the 135i allowed? im just curious because it is priced the same as a brand new GTO and its a entry level car if so i wanna use my 135i. im not trying to be difficult i just want to use something im comfortable with

No too new. A used z4 is much cheaper then a used 135.

You can get a good 135i for 27.000 euro over here with few Km and all extras.

For a okay one 23.000-25.000euro.

Spank, could you make a list or something of cars YOU imagine to be in the comp, because now I'm completely lost on what car is ok and what car is not for the comp.

EDIT: For example, what if I in real life would buy the new GT86 on a 5 year contract, and I would modify it for drifting? That doesn't mean I'm rich because I would only pay so much a month. :sly: You want us to think realistically, well I am.

Youve bren drifting for about a year, still learning how to tandem. Car contact will happen. You want that to happen to your new car?

Lets say I'm about 24, have been drifting since 19 with 5 years of experience. After all this time I choose to buy a brand new car to use for serious drift competition. No? lol, these scenarios could go for as long as we want. :D

EDIT: But nevermind, it's your comp, your rules :D Just please write a brief list of what cars you would expect to see in the comp.

EDIT: Just saw some videos and event coverage's of Pro-Am comps, and most of these look pretty serious. Didn't look like this "Youve bren drifting for about a year, still learning how to tandem." at all.
Some cars I saw:

  • S-chassis (over 9000 of them)
  • R32's
  • Infiniti's
  • 350z's
  • Mustang cobra
  • more S chassis
  • Mercedes 190E :o
  • Rx7's
  • Rx8's
  • MK4 Supra

I want torque. The Z none. Can't use my faster cars because they are too expensive. The Supra is the only thing I'm comfortable with.

Aight this is the last time I'm changing my car but i want to use the 04 M3. Its old enough and a budget builder
