Spank you need to remove all these FD's... its gonna look queer with 10 FD's 1 350z, 1 370z

EDIT: Just looked at OP about 4 350's, 3 370's 1 FD (the other 5-9 need to be added... not rushing just saying there not there...) and no beamers.... lol spank if you look at it... you kinda made it so we all ran duplicate cars (in a subliminal way)... 50,000cr., realism to GT5... fks the game over... oh well :/

That's because people think they need that 500hp rather then good for the car they love and the functionality. And I haven't added the others cause like I have posted before I will add them when I get on the computer. I have no internet at home so I don't I can there? Had to wait till I get to work this morning. Way to hard to do on my phone.

If you wanted realism... i would say instead of 500hp you do 400pp... thats more realistic and it keeps the vipers and corvettes out... You said you're getting internet back within 3 weeks... that gives people 3 weeks to find a car... :D... honestly... you didnt accomplish too much with the hp restriction... you still have FD's they are above 350's but below vipers... You need to add more restrictions like pp or a weight minimum... this allows for more realism than just applying a hp limit...

PS: the concept isnt realistic but neither is GT5 so adding weight AND hp restrictions keep it fair for everyone (im just guessing thats what you hoped to accomplish by applying these restrictions)

Yes but in real life you can get an fd for 10-13k which is mote realistic the. An average working man who wants to enter in a viper or zr-1. This is also why I I added the car budget. Cause I knew people would end up buying the better or viper and restrict the how below stock which is not realistic. I'm not going to restict weight or pp cause XDC don't do that plus every car is different.
 
lol then you didnt change anything... a fd compared to a 350z is retarted on gt5... and frankly to be honest you cant find a track that eliminates the speed problem... the FD is going to be the fastest car in this competition just because of the car itself hands down... oh well its your comp... im done trolling now :D

All tracks may be custom so no one will be that fast :sly:
 
So just to clarify.... Where are the rules for the tourny coming from?

Judging - FD???
Regulations - You or XDC or The Poll???
Practice - You???
Anything else - ???

Ruls come from VegasDrift.com Which follow Formula Drift rules and regulations. Judging style will be based on FD. But I dont know what you mean by practice?

Ok so here is my final post... if you are using XDC, FD, and Vegas Drift as models then can you put this in the OP so others can get a better insight on how things work???

Oh and by practice... i mean practice sessions... irl you dont have the track at your house... you have to drive to practice sessions and pros get more laps than ams :D

If i left it up to people being able to pratice only when i got home, no one would be able to practice. So that doesnt work. And btw this is pro-am series. Not pro-series hence why no 600+hp cars are allowed.Do you know how the pro-am works?

Look. Spank is doing a missive successful job on VDC and is better in a few ways.

1. Full Round ran in 1 weekend. not that wait for a replay bullcrap.

2. Very fair, and good judging

3. Everybody loves the tournament.

Spank, just do you'r job and don't listen to the crap like ''H2H should be a model''. It took about 4 months to complete and is too long. Just run the tournament every 2 weeks. Season 1 was the best tournament yet. Keep up the good work! :)

This is based on a true competition with their rules (to close as possible, have to remember this is still a video game) And please remind me why i tried to ban you from the last one until your "team" got behind you and made me put you back in. I understand you are trying to put your opinion into it. But to me its confusing on whether you are putting your input or you are just trying to do it to spite me? If you think some things should be changed or sugggestions then I would love to hear them. But when you come in here and tell me the whole this is "ridiculous" then i take offense to it, and honestly dont even wanna see you in here. You need to get a better mind set when it comes to this thread and GT5. You have the attitude like you are the best drifter to hit these boards and the game, but your not. I would expect this out of some others but not a BURST member.

What I copied and pasted was right off the damn sheet you posted. I had to change some words because obviously this isnt real life its just a game. Everything is set up the same. There will be scores for qualifying and there will be a 3rd place battle. Now please if you are going to give me suggestions I will gladly take them, but if you just want to call it names and diss on it, then just stay out of here. If you arent going to compete then I dont wanne hear what you have to say about it. Thanks

I gave input... you dont want negative input say so... oh and powell brown-nosing doesnt help you win (lol sorry but you gotta admit you are kinda kissing up to spank)... anyway spank... i'll clarify right now... if i wanna shove your d**k in the dirt i'll do it... i gave you input... you didnt like it... please ask me to stop giving input before this happens again... This is nobodys fault but OURS... we both are at fault here and to sum up everything i would like to say:

GT5 doesn't have enough features for a realistic tournament with only 2 restrictions... So i'm asking you to either revise the competition, ask me personally not to give any input, or understand the fact that though I may come across as being a smartass, i am only trying to help

Nevertheless if you do decide to kick me out... we'll always have turtles...

Of course I'm kissing up to Spank. I have a Brain not to argue because I don't want to get put out or be looked down upon.

The other reason I'm kissing up to him is, I have massive respect for him because he brought such a big tournament into GTP and it was a huge success, and he helped me get out off my corvettes.

Yes i did call it ridiculous... Do you know why? no... I didnt say anything about your tournament needing to be like H2H that was a general statement... Nowhere did I say spank... your tournament is crap... make it like H2H... those are all assumptions... and you know what they say when you assume... you make an ass out of u and me... I wasn't even in H2H but if you look at it... its pretty amazing... and finally i will respect your wish... i will hold my tongue and enter the tournament... if i post on this thread again i will pull a powell :D (lol ok really im done powell its just fun to mess with you because you talk to me about it on GT5)

You're right to a point... and to answer your question... less angle... you get less angle til you catch up... thats how you drift unless you don't mind a big gap between you and the lead car... shallower lines, less angle, and earlier transitions is how you keep up... Oh and trust me i've seen m3's go fast and to be honest you can't leave a viper... You can keep up because we get lots of angle... If we pulled off as little angle as m3s, we would pull away... Yea we might look ugly doing it because the viper doesn't look good at low angle... but we would pull away... P:W does make a difference... but thats not the ONLY thing that matters... ONLY thing??? No... A KEY thing??? Yes... line... angle... and aeros all come into play... So i get what you're saying... all im saying is, don't try to make it seem like P:W isn't a big deal as you did in your original statement...

I get enough angle to match who ever it is I am tandeming with. I adapt to whoever is leading. When I'm leading - I may not get as much angle as all of the fantastic wheel drifters on GTP - but drifting is also about speed. Angle is fun but who wants to see crazy angle from a car going 30 mph? Not me. How is that exciting? I'm not all that great at leading - I know that. But I feel that I am good at chasing and I can match anyone's angle and speed. I've matched everything you've done in the few times we have tandemed.

I'm a high speed drifter - that's my style. I like drifting at the highest speeds possible for the corner. If I don't have as much angle as the next guy - so be it. But I know that my style is far more exciting.

But I do agree with you that P:W ratio is a key element - but its not the biggest element at all. Technique and skill trump that. Why do you think people still use the AE86 in real life drift competitions? Technique and skill my friend. Good chat bud.

its not the biggest but the way you responded to killer you made it seem like it didnt matter... i might be wrong but no doubt you are an excellent drifter and you do know what you are talking about :D... Oh and the angle thing is right... because when i was in a tourny the other day hosted by mtnfc3s i got hit by everyone except marcus on the first turn... don't lose him... he's a keeper :D

I even stated i was messing with powell in the parenthesis...why do you have to take everything as a shot at somebody???... maybe its because we only drifted together 5 times... i think you're analyzing me too hard (ONCE AGAIN NOT A SHOT!!!)... we dont know each other well enough so things i say to powell might be all fun and games to him, but to you they are fkn punches to the gut...
