You can. Apex's of the corners are the clipping points. Dont touch the grass or wall. It is fine to tap the wall and nbto get points off but if it interupts your drift then you will be docked for points.
 
VDC looks good so far man. Can't wait to actually participate this season! Quick question though, for US drifters is the qualy room open at night?
 
Could you mark the clipping points on a track map just to clear it up ? :D

Clipping points are the APEX's of the corners.

What is the allowance of clipage on the second clipping point where it's a massive curb, is it just the rumble strip?
Also, what is considered hitting the clipping point on no.4, how close to the wall?
And finally, in general, what is considered as hitting the clipping point - running the curb with your wheel or having you bumper over, or at a set distance (if any please specify), from the curb.

Same rules as before. Bumper over curb or close to curb is perfect clipping point. and number 4 is the wall. Made it the wall cause it gives you a better line for the nest CP.

Plus you are allowed to tap the wall but if it disrupts your run it will be counted against you.

I guess my main query was, how far away from the clipping point could you get away with to count as clipping it, because 'close to' could be any distance really. For example, on Madrid we were aloud a 1 foot margin on the last wall that would count as clipping the clipping point.

Try to keep it under a foot. I know its difficult on a video game but since we cant put actual clipping points cones, we have to do our best.

Can you make it known to judges and OP that there's a 1 foot margin. I don't know about anyone else but thats a huge relief that I don't have to literally hit every clipping point.

Okay we have over 40 people registered. Im guessing alost half of them wont show up for the actual events. So since we have so many Im thinking about since we have 2 rooms for qualifying (Europe & North America) we will pick the top 8 from first room, top 8 from second. Since we have to have the 2 judges in the room. We might have to have to have 2 racers on standby and once there is an elmination of 2 people bring them in. Then have that battle. So instead of the main event being only the top 8 it will be the top 16.

Let me know please how you feel of this??

I quite like the top 16 idea, more coverage to people other than the top 8. Will it be a 16 person final then?
 
Have to save room for 2 judges, that's why the main room will be broke down to 14 then the 2 people wait till 2 are eliminated. Then they can come in. The room will take a bit longer but its only more real and you're right does open it up to more people.
