If you could run quali on fri (tomorrow) too that would be great!

This is why I don't like making special days for people. Cause then everyone just wants to do it.

Exactly. My opinion is to keep qualifing on Saturday to make it more of a one day fun event. If special days are made then it seems less fun because of less amount of people qualifing in one room. My 2 cents (^_^)

hoping i can pull it together and not suck bawls. lol

i havent been on practicing nearly as much as i would like to, but im trying to work on my dd s14 that i wrecked at team tandem, pull apart my sr20 that i killed a ring landing in, and work out all the new proam car details with body/fab guy, motor guy, and sponsors. trying to do a lotta custom stuff, like rear mounted radiator, smoke vents to keep car from filling up during runs, and custom crash bumpers that can be replaced in minutes and add structural support for chassis. throw 40+hr work week and husband and fatherhood into mix, and i dont get to play that much.

no excuses i will try my best, and if i fail, its no ones fault but my own.:dunce:
might pull a couple late nighter practices in tonight and friday to try to lock down my best line, and any tuning bugs.

Normally I would qualify on the specific date (as I have been in all the rounds I've participated in last season) but given the circumstances of the schedule change, I've repeatedly said that this is the only option for those of us that have already made prior arrangements... You guys make it seem like we are doing this on purpose.. I guess think of this round as an exception...

Look, we aren't trying to create any complications at all. We just want to actually have the chance to compete and have fun. That is why we are so persistent with qualifying before. We are free this Sunday, it's only Saturday we have schedule conflicts. This is, for the most part, the reason why I ask for the whole schedule of VDC. To prepare accordingly.

I have already messaged jimmy on my team thread, and hopefully he can judge us.

EDIT: Thanks Steve and Jimmy for making the arrangements, we deeply appreciate it!!

I'm A nice Kind of guy y'know? I Don't mind doing it A night early. But I'm not doing everyones run.. Just A few as it's gonna be late where I am so don't everyone jump in and say "It's only 1 more". A time is allocated for qualifying and you will just have to stick to it...
:D:D

Wow I didn't realise it was this weekend until now :P

Nevertheless, I've been drifting it a bit since VDC1 ended.

And btw I have looked at the OP but am never sure with numbers, it starts at 5pm GMT, right?

Thats reason i refuse to ever work retail again, they want you there on weekends while all your friends are at drift events and partying. but the economy sucks, so its harder to get banker hour jobs.
I have my boss trained to give me days off for drift events meow. lol i had to take off couple days a piece for Road Atl FD and Palm Beach FD this year. While my boss was working, i was hanging with Rhys and Conrad at their trailors and gettin sideways at 80+mph. hahaha I am gonna get with conrad this offseason when he comes into town to have his car tuned again at my sponsors shop, and practice my backwards entries, and try to get hooked with Hankook tire Deal for next season.

The count down on the OP will countdown till the room opens. Once that says time has been reached. Room is open! 👍

Edit: BTW, I will be opening up a room in about half hour for VDC Practice. It will only be open for a bit, then ill open another tonight. Hope to see you there!

Edit:3 Room closed.

Hey Spank, I noticed the time of the event and it is a little tight for me but If I make it maybe..30Mins-1hour late will I still be able to do a run? Not talking about the qualify rooms, talking about the event itself.

No waiting for people this time around. Sorry, need to make sure you show up on time, you will still get points for qualifying in top 16

woop woop guys i've finally made the big change!

I've switched to +7 controller sensitivity (i've been using it for the past 7 months) to the normal 0 controller sensitivity. I still can't use -2 cause it feels quite snappy but I will get there eventually.

Things I noticed

Pro's of lower controller sensitivity:
More smooth= easier to tandem
better looks in replay
if you let off gas you can get mad angle because your wheels go actual full lock

cons:
Snappiness (for me because I used +7 for the past 7 months)

i cant connect to room. Is it down?

I knew a car who has a Turbo 2 and tries so hard to blow it up and never could.

May I have #1 for my car?

Sure

When will the judges be on today? I need to qualify today because I won't be around tomorrow.

Ask Jimmy. But after this weekend there will be no more special judging. If you can't make either of the two rooms I'm sorry
