The tracks would actually be my choice


Edit: I got it! 4 rounds pro-am. Top 8 will move on. Plus ill choose 4 people to get pro licenses. That's 12 total to move onto 4 more rounds. For these rounds you will be bumped up to a approved car list and making the hp go from 500 to 600hp.

There will still be qualifying to determine who the great 8 are and where you will place on the bracket.

How does this sound? Sounds fun to me! 👍

Here a quick idea. How about keep track of all the crashes, and if anyone in a crash ( has to be bad) are allowed to change there car? Example: Chelsea DeNofa. It would just change things up and make it that much closer to real life.

Bad news. My wheel died last night. Called logitech and i have to wait 48 hours to see if they can help me with a new one. I have also been messaging a few people on creg's list to see if anyone will trade something for a wheel. If i can get a new wheel before the 12th i will compete. But if not i will not compete. I will be sure to let you know by the 12th spank.

I actually really like this idea. Heavy damage that lasts until your runs are over and such. It'd be pretty easy to track and would add a new dynamic to a somewhat limited competition. Spank, you should look into it.

there would be a 1 minute ruling depending on how bad the crash was.

When i was in GTDS we tried running comps with heavy damage and the problem we found was when if there was any lag what so ever and contact happened during the lag it would cause major problems. This problem would also happen while on a high speed entry and one or both of the cars do the angle speed lag (the car is zig zaging while the car is sliding at 90°+).
One way it doesn't happen so much is if you set the room up like this.
Race quality- High or Very High (preferably on very high)
Chat quality- Low or Very Low

Problem with this is that some people dont have the best connection to have race quality on high or very high. Bahaa has trouble connecting to room with it on standard with chat quality on low or even off.

If someone is so desperate for a new car that they sacrifice points, then that's actually not even that bad. Just make it so crashes in practice and quali wouldn't count towards this damage factor.

Or you could just make it so if someone wants to change cars they can "cash in" like 20 championship points or something. that way it's only worth changing cars if it's actually going to make a difference and it prevents people changing cars just cuz they feel like it

If we are being real here, light damage wont mean you have to sacrifice your points and your car. Though, if your car sustains a great amount of Damage, you'll be told to sit out for that round. Even in pract or qual.
EDIT: New cars should have a price limit.
