Vitz Question

For the Vitz 1.5 you can upgrade for turbo or for N/A, i just wanted to know which is better for racing?

if u got turbo u can get more top speed, which the Vitz kinda needs. i did this with my pitz

but NA will get more positive power straight down without lag...
its probably worth a try

I have not done extensive testing but I would predict that a maxed out NA Vitz would get very close if not equal in lap times to a maxed out turbo.

EDIT: the turbo does give more hp but this does not always mean better acceleration because turbo lag holds it back and yes I am a firm believer in turbo lag in all models and am willing to prove it if necessary.

The reason I am saying this is while I was struggling with the Vitz Pro I bought a second Vitz so I had both max NA and max Turbo. It was not the acceleration or top speed that made me struggle as I was able to pull away in both cars in a straight line but I had not setup the car properly.

It was an accident that left me in the turbo car for the series. I just happened to get the suspension setup properly in that car and took it to the series.

For other models the turbo may be better but you need quite a bit more hp in a turbo model to get acceleration on a par with the NA models.

Yes, maybe with the slower cars it might not make much difference, but remember with a slower car small gaps can be a lot of time. IE, compare the NA Supra to the Turbo Supra. The NA gives out about 350 bhp, whilst the Turbo Supra gives out about 900 bhp. That's why i said Turbo gives a lot more power.

I think there's a very good reason for that. The Supra is born as a turbo charged car. Remove the turbo and go for NA and you're left with nada... Low compression etc. etc.

Where as the Pitz is NA from the beginning..

well im gonna do some testing of my own and see what i like better, however i feel the pro vitz series is a pain in the ass.

I had only done couple of licenses and won the MX-5 from the B-license and won an F1 from my first race so...

It isn't so hard to get one then .
