Oh. 20 Km walk eh? What is that? 12 miles?

2.5 hours... Do whatever calculations you want... I don't know imperial.

Anyways, is it too late to switch classes? Maybe possibly? I realized today (after hitting six walls in a row!!)
that I can't drive lighter cars anymore, and, these 1000 kg FF dart cars are too twitchy now. :( I'm losing touch with these cars, as I learn the cars for the other series I'm running in...

If you want to. But this Will hurt our TC class.

Ohhhh.... rock and a hard place... It's just, I'd be a danger on the track... Seth saw... I was turning in, like the Integra was my BMW M3 Coupe '07, or my Audi R8 4.2... There's a 300 kg difference there... So, I was turning in, when I thought I should, and hitting a wall, about ten feet away from the apex, on the *IN*side.

So, with some testing done today it really seems the Z is too good of a car as is (same with the Viper). Maybe some of the regs need a re-think. I've noticed the Viper and the Z are VERY fast. I think they need to be 490hp 1260kg for the Viper and 500 hp 1260kg for the Z. The other cars that people are running like the Vette need a weight break to keep pace because they just don't have the downforce that some of the others have. So here's my take on how the regs could be to equal out the cars, but still have some differences in strengths-

GT Class:
Vette ZR1 RM- 1230kg 510hp
Lambo Diablo GT1- 1230kg 510hp
CitroenGT Race Car- 1230kg 510hp
Pagani Zonda LM- 1240kg 505hp
BMW M3 GTR- 1230kg 515hp
Oreca Dodge Viper- 1260kg 490hp
Nissan Fairlady Z LM- 1260kg 500hp
Ford GT Spec II- 1260kg 490hp
Audi R8 LMS- 1300kg 525hp
Nissan GTR R35 TC- 1260kg 500hp
Honda Proto NSX LM- 1230kg 515hp

Touring Class
Mazda Roadster/MX5 TC- 950kg 286hp
Honda CRZ TC- 1000kg 290hp
Honda Integra RM- 1000kg 305hp

We could add additional Touring cars if there is interest.

Is the Golf RM removed from the TC class?

Is the Golf RM removed from the TC class?

We probably will remove it because it's so slow.

Definitely too slow. Same with the Civic RM. It's a shame there isn't more cars that're compact and competitive. The Elise RM is a good option, but it's so light, even with ballast, to equal it out would mean that it'd have less than 250hp.

Anyone wanna test a new car set for VLN TC??

Test the DLC TC's. There might be a couple that reach 1000kg. Or the Super Touring cars, like the Imprezza and the FTO. There's also a standard Spoon S2000 race car, and a standard Integra touring car.

RX-8 LM
FTO super touring
Mazda 6 Touring
Spoon S2000 race car
Renault clio trophy car
How about the Silvia RM?
Elise RM
Or the Prius TC?

Those cars might be somewhat unbalanced. Does anyone want to see the cars list I'm compiling (my sig has the link) for the Modded Touring Car Championship and consider that?

I mean, we need some outside-the-box thinking for this, I suppose, so let's just consider it.

What about the Falken GT-R? Its a VLN car.

No. We're looking for TC cars. It's a Falken Tire GT-R.

Yeah, the R34... The VLN equivalent of TC is SP8T, and the faster cars are SP9T. You've never driven the Falken GT-R, have you? I think it'd be more rather an SP9T car. I think it actually was.

SP8T cars might be more like street cars, which is why I'm thinking about production cars @ 230-270 hp + 1100 kgs. See my series idea link in my signature...

Yes, certain cars might be more aerodynamic and less prone to body roll, but, by barring downforce and setting up all cars with the same hp/weight, I imagine that the cars would be somewhat similar. So far, I have yet to feel a huge difference in performance caused by tire size etc. which varirs from model to model. After that, the only considerations are weight distribution...

It's more like an SP10. Me and Seth talked about it before. It's too heavy and slow for SP9.

RX-8 LM
FTO super touring
Mazda 6 Touring
Spoon S2000 race car
Renault clio trophy car
How about the Silvia RM?
Elise RM
Or the Prius TC?

This list is cool, but scratch the RX-8 LM, it's good enough for SP9 class.
Mazda 6 would be a good candidate, though it's kinda of slow and doesn't meet 1000kg. Spoon S2000 might fit, not sure it's weight. Renault Clio was another choice I had. Wasn't sure how people would feel about it though, and it's a bit heavier. Silvia RM is able to meet 1000kg also. Elise RM is too light IMO. And the Prius TC isn't powerful enough. So of that list I'd say we could test the S2000 Spoon, the Renault Clio, the Silvia S15 RM, the Mitsubishi FTO Super Touring car and the Impreza Super Touring Car.

I want the nissan z concept and gurdiell also!

Getting online now, I'll be testing this series and my other series that's linked in my signature. I hope people join me!

Join him guys! Great series!

90's GT and LMGTP.

Those cars are just too fast. DS3 throttle control=FAIL. Could you put a n00b class in there? Otherwise, I take no part in GT1/GTS...

Use TC and different LSD settings, they're only a little faster than this series.

TCS is my sworn enemy. I don't even use TCS in a Formula Gran Turismo...

TC on 1 or 2 doesn't hinder you any. It's only going to kick in when your tires spin. Besides were running no tire wear so it's not a big deal.
