VRC MKII Rig pedal cushion solution?

I have a VRC MKII Rig. The cushion under the pedal mounts is permanently giving away under my heels. The depressions take my feet out of the comfortable position. Has anyone experienced this and found a work around? Thanks in advance!

Have you considered replacing it with something solid like wood? You could put felt or carpet on it to make it nicer to rest your feet on.

your right! i have replaced the cushion with a bed of nails!!

Thanks @LostRacer , the cushion gets my feet to the right height to hit the G27 pedal configuration, anyway I fixed my problem with some carpet strips.
