VRC+SPARCO+G27=A lot of fun!

So, truth be told, I would have never spent my "hard earned" money on something like this, however I've always wanted a similar setup...

Found out about 2 months ago that I had accumulated about 30,000 rewards points (or $300) on a credit card of mine, and said, what the hell...

Oddly enough, I bought my PS3 almost 4 years ago for one reason and one reason only... Grand Turismo 5...

Anyways, with prologue, this setup is just amazing, and so much fun... Cant wait till November 2nd! :)

I managed to snag the G27 on Amazon.com for a total of $206 shipped...
I found the the Virtual Racing Chassis brand new on e-bay for $180 shipped...
Last but not least, the seat is from a former show car of mine that now collects dust in my garage...

I really like the look but more important the seating position of that Virtual Racing Chassis. $180.00 WOW...even Nicer
It also looks very good in your living room with out that over the top computer geek ,sim geek, tec geek look to it. But most important is the fact, you like the way it drives with your sim's...Have Fun
 
How stable is the Steering wheel and gear shifter with this setup??? thinking of getting one myself, nice and neat.

Also what's the total length of the VRC???

Nice setup, but don't you think TV is a little bit to high? Just my opinion.

Oddly enough, I set the tv on its stand down on the brick at eye level and really noticed no difference in my preference.

Maybe if I was looking up so high that I was straining my neck or actually making an attempt to look up it would be more of a a problem...
