Currently in the UCD for $760,000 (there abouts).

Is the car worth buying? I know its super quick as it gave me a bit of strife in a couple of previous races but just not sure on things like handling & weather is a "good looking" standard car or a crap one?

It looks ok, powerful and handles well. Great top-of-the-line 'production' car, competitive with SLS's, McLarens, etc. Some handling quirks. Overall, a good buy, but it is possible to get more out of your credits. Indeed, very rare.

760,000 - definately buy it, mine cost me 1,500,000.

It ran rings around my tuned Gallardo and Murcialago SV670, even though the Nardo was stock, apart from sports soft tyres, it put in some seriously good laps. I liked it so much, when I saw it again I bought another.

Excellent car, but there's no aero devices available for it, plus you can't change the wheels... 👎

Thanks for the quick responses guys,

Yeah I thought it was a bit weird that such a car would be under $1m credits but who knows what the inner working of GT5 really are??

I think ill buy it & keep it handy, Cheers guys.

I picked one up from my UCD just the other day as well. Fun car on the Nordschleife at stock settings...it's capable of some really quick laptimes. Not the best looking machine IMO, but a good drive and definitely rare.

I'd like it as it's essentially the prototype/concept that went on to become the Bugatti Veyron.

No it wasn't...

The concept of the W12 engine is what was put into practice with the W16 in the Bugatti. Not the same teams, but same company and technology. It's not a straight-line from-Nardo-to-Veyron, but it's the concept which demostrated a working idea that grew into a "where-can-we-take-this?" from the company.

I guess they settled on taking it to the fastest road-going car on the planet.

It all stemmed from this:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/VR6_engine

//I'm not an expert or pretending to be. I know it wasn't the same exact team, but it's the same company with advanced technology used in a similar manner. It's less of a stretch as saying that this:

Was what became this:

I liked it in GT4, hope its as good in this one. Its fast as an AI car so it should be awesome. You can't change the aero or wheels on any "concept" that I can think of.

No aero additions, but you can adjust front and rear downforce. I paid 1.5 mil for mine and I love it. With a little tweaking of the suspension and LSD, this car is slightly slower than the Enzo (with my tuning setup)

This car is an icon
Yes there are several other cars faster than this one, but still worth buying.
Just to make a variation online

I'm probably going to get one off of that level 17 ticket I have.

It looks fast, and it's usually one of the top cars in the field driven by the A.I. Hell, even in remote races, your bob was pretty much guaranteed a win over even more experienced bobs if it was his given car for that particular race.

Veyron concept car was Bentley Hunaudieres. VW then decided to build its hypercar under Bugatti badge.
About the Nardo, it's a 'meh' from me. It's fast, but expensive for a road car.

If I could have I would have bought it, but I didn't have the money to get it because it was 1,430,000cr.
I only had 890,000 and I couldn't bring myself to sell 500,000 worth of my cars for it.

Great car, it usually wins the B-Spec remote race.
👍
That's usually the sign of a good car in its stock condition. It's very fast and easy for Bob to drive. When I run the remote B-spec race, I have a field of 16 cars. I always check who has this car (probably gonna win) and who has the Vantage (almost guaranteed to lose).

The GT5 Matrix has it as a level 16. Are you sure it's a level 17?

So I did buy this car, and its very very quick. Extremely stable and easy to drive for a MR car (at first I thought it was AWD). I just wish it had aero options.

Buy it because it's super rare. It's a very good car overall, close to the Ford GT but slightly behind the McLaren F1 and Lamborghini Murcielago LP-670-4 SuperVeloce in my opinion (all fully tuned of course).

👍

So true, I remember one of the old remote races on trial mountain the Nardo actually lapped the vantage, was a lower level driver in the aston but it still made me laugh.
