Nothing like the e3 trailer, but better than nothing i suppoose

WOW... that looks awesome... I`m amazed.... Even the car is going back and forth left and right... can`t even go straight. Just awesome.

its up but lagy

I'll wait for a youtube upload

Doesn't even get scratched, i really hope the damage is adjustable, because to me GRID is far better

Sadly the video only shows the rally car getting damaged. The stock evo behind it doesn't even get a scratch.

I'll be seriously dissapointed if this is the case with all street car's...

Poor damage, no tire marks, car still bounces off wall.
If this is final build i'm not happy

Buy GRID. You'll enjoy it more given how disappointed you've been tonight.

The damage on the Subaru looks great and to me realistic. Going over kerbs after the first hit you can see how the bumper wobbles due to it being loose. I like how the car scrapes backwards down the wall with a bit of side to side movement. However, it is disappointing that the other car drives into the back of the Subaru without a scratch so I guess the damge is only enabled for the single car.

awesome awesome awesome

anyone got ideas how it will look if your hood comes up in dash view :S.. don't think it could work.

love how the AI leaves the line to overtake now

Video now working...:)

No damage on street cars just seems weird to me, It's just not Polyphonys style

its ok but whay the hell that evo didnt get a scratch....

hmm.... it looked as if the damage was only the bumpers coming off and boot/doors/hood opening. No dynamic deformations in this demo :/

Isn't the entire car wobbling after he hits the barrier in the beginning?

Well, the Impreza's bonnet deformed in the E3 trailer, remember.

And, maybe the Impreza is the only car they've shown that can get damaged so far? It got damaged in the E3 trailer, it can get damaged here.

Also, this is just a demo... I'm sure the full thing will have scratches, deformation, and all that stuff.

We can only wait...

Hear :censored:ing hear +1 👍

Mate, you have two choices. You can point out the bad points and simply wait until GT6, or you can accentuate the good points and enjoy the game.

I'm 100% sure PD don't have the capacity to make THE PERFECT GAME. Make do with what you get. They're not forcing you to buy the game - and I'll be interested to see if you buy it after comments like this. My guess is that you will - but why would you be wasting money on something you're not happy with? :dunce:

Well you didn't expect it to be that good did you?

some people including me didnt think damage was coming at all.. to get it at all done pretty well is a benefit.

people are disgraceful in here as to what they want, pretty ungreatfull

If the site is still down, you can d/l the .wmv of the video here. It doesn't take very long, once the page has opened.

But yeah, the evo behind doesn't seem to have a mark on it. It looks like it has a light bump anyway, hard to tell as both cars are pretty far away, but the evo goes into the back of the subarue. Subaru gets damaged back bumper, evo is fine :(.

That aside, the damage to the subaru IS pretty good, imo, and it seems to affect handling so not entirely cosmetic.

Time for Kaz to clear up some questions rising here!
A bit strange to just put a load of playable gt5's there and say nothing about it...
But ey, we shouldn't complain 'cause after the Sony conference I expected nothing and we get gameplay video's!!!

That's not realistic. It's real. lol

Well, you wouldn't be able to see anything. You'd pretty much have to switch to another view. I like how the hood doesn't just fly off like in GTA though, since those hinges are quite strong and wind resistance at low speeds like that definitely wouldn't take it off easily. If they were weakened then it could be easier though.

Damage and detail looks really good but notice how the AI still does not stop when you spin out. The AI came right around the corner and blasted right into him. Come on PD fix the dang AI!!

That's what i mean, im going to assume now that in cockpit view, damage will not occur, because you won't see it.
