Wangan Midnight Maximum Tune 2

Who play WMMT2, i just started playing and i need guide on maintaining the speed during cornering and i using [R32]White completed 80stories and NBL [CW] 10 oppen 1-10 all beated. Now all i need is 5,000km to 815HP currently now my [R32] is only 810HP MAX.

I've played Maximum Tune 2, but the only machine is 45 minutes away, and I've only gone twice. I do, however, have a Maximum Tune 1 machine at my local arcade. My main card is a fully-tuned blue JZX100 Chaser that usually has 700HP/B, and that's the card I used to gain all of the top time attack records on all courses on both machines.

As far as cornering goes, there are three things to remember:
1. Above all else, you need to keep off of the walls.
2. Don't fight the car and try to keep grip; allow the car to slide, because it's just going to drift anyway.
3. Take a racing line through the corners that has you turning the steering wheel as little as possible. The more you turn the wheel, the more you slow down.

You can use the walls for the sharper corners in MT1, but it doesn't really help a whole lot. Besides, it's better to learn to stay off of them, and then use them voluntarily.

If I recall correctly, MT2's wall hits cause you to lose a lot more speed.

I played in once in Tokyo in 2004... I really hope that we get a console release in the near future, maybe PS3?

Maximum tune has been been on the PS2 for a longgggg time (If you got it imported from Japan) and MT2 is still on the arcade.

Is Maximum tune 1 Wangan midnight ? If yes, then I own it...If not... I have to... so how is it called ?
And I was talking about MT2, since that was the one I played in Tokyo in September 2004....

If im thinking correctly, only Wangan Midnight was released for ANY ps2, and maximum tune 1 or 2 were always arcade only

Maximum Tune was never released for the PS2. I must say though, that I find it to be the funnest racing game I've played since Sega GT.
