Then PM me!

I know several people who drop $4Mil+ on an LMP car, and are then disappointed because they can't manage to drive it very well. Common problems are Oversteer, and a general lack of understanding the car's pros and cons. Each car is a little different, and it does take a bit to get used to, but I'm on a mission, and that mission is that everyone can drive a LMP car in a competitive setting. I'm really patient, and I really do enjoy this sort of thing.

I can basically teach you from the ground up, wheel or no wheel, how to drive any LMP car on GT5. I do not currently posses a BMW V12 LMR, or any Group C cars except the Minolta. But; Audi, Bentley, Peugeot, and Pescarolo are all cars I have, and can easily teach you to drive. If you have a V12 LMR, im sure i could still teach you the basic points. Im most available on Sunday nights(PST) but may be able to make arrangements for other times as well.

I really look forward to seeing people take me up on this, its totally free, and you'll gain a new PSN friend in the process :) And if you think you already have the LMP stuff down, give me a shout and we can set up a race.

Hope to see you Sunday!

Quite a novel idea! 👍

I would like to,but seeing as time differences are a b***h,don't think it would be worth your trouble.

Sounds like a great idea. Hopefully you are on when I can go on but I am not fussed if we can't be online at the same time. Just thought I should let you know that I do use a DS3 controller so it makes it a bit harder for me.

I'll race you for the hell of it, these cars kick ass and will kick your ass if your not careful! I'd be glad to add you since my friends race muscle mostly.

I guess first thing is first. If you're using a DS3 controller instead of a wheel... change it so you're using the triggers for accel and brake, you will have more control.

99% of oversteer is because you're going full throttle halfway through a bend lol. Slowly build up the power from the apex until you're straight then go full throttle.

I drive the 787B, RCP92 and Sauber C9 with assists off without problems (I used to have problems using X for accelerate). The Minolta is impossible to drive without traction control on though...

Sign me up anyway, I wanna get better =]

I might take you up on that someday, when school permits. These are among my favorite cars in the game but I can't handle them without leaving the TCS on. And on top of that I like your name, haha, it was one of many I used to use for online gaming on my comp.

Step 1: Dont glitch to earn money.
a. you will be a terrible driver
b. you will be booted for thinking you are slick using a car the out classes everyone else
c. you will be made fun of for being a glitcher
d. when you do find a server, you will cry and rage quit because the people you are racing against are doing 20-40sec a lap faster

Exactly, im out to get everybody those 40 seconds back, and not by clipping every corner.

Except glitchers... obviously. Honest people who slaved over the controller trying to get money to get an amazing car, but who cant wrap their heads around it

What about the good drivers who glitch to earn money lol?

I'm a shameless glitcher because its the fastest way to get 1000 cars while still having a life.

I only glitch to get money to tune road cars, I got the 1million+ cars by trading before the patch.

Also, its worth saying im kinda wanting to focus on Modern LMP cars, as im not too fantastic in the Group C's.. PM or wall post me if you want lessons WITH the LMP cars you have

The modern ones aren't that hard to drive, the group C cars are much harder in my opinion especially the Nissan R92cp, R89c and Toyota Minolta 88c.

Out of the lemans cars I've got the 908 and 787b...

I find the 908 a piece of cake, as you say its the older group C monsters than are harder but thats the way it should be!

The bmw v12 is a handful. THe minolta was a handful to drive. I loved the 787. I just tune them with some suggestions and try it and make it work to my driving style. Just gotta remember not to mash the gas...
