Well I have never done it on a PS3 but from what I have read on the other threads basically you would be able to back up your game save. Trade your cars, parts, paint to your sub accounts, then use your backup save and trade all those same items back to your main account, basically doubling everything you have... Of course if they fixed the "trade more than one car per day" glitch then that would take a long time to do except for parts and paint.

I have 2 PS3's so I have been leveling up 2 accounts.
I trade a car daily from my GTP account to the other and B-spec with it (while A-spec on GTP) and give it back to the GTP account.
I have leveled up the B-spec without buying cars by using the ones I used for the GTP account.
I will use the 2nd account for earning money in case the 1st account has a game save issue and I need to buy expensive cars for whatever reason.

Of course if we could backup our save to the USB the 2nd account would be a total waste of electricity.
For now it is for earning money and can be used as a spectator for online races I/we am in.

Swaying a little off topic, sorry.

Just got a message saying 'Servers Undergoing Maintenance'. Looks like PD are fixing the problem right now. Hopefully all the lost cars turn up.

Great idea Kenny, I knew you were using the two consoles but didn't know that you were using the other for viewing online races in spectator mode. We should use that for marshaling our races. All we need is that pace car... (swaying a little more) ... with lights.

Phew, good thing my friend gave me back my 330 P4 before the errors started.
 
Tigersharkdude- servers are completely down. Therefore no trading since you can't access the online portion. Been like this all day.

Servers are still down. Why is it taking PD so long to get the servers back up!? :grumpy:
 
Could anyone confirm that multi-car trading is working again?
 
I hate these server things. They should just put them in one mass update and get the pain over with.

What does this mean, you choose not to trade with cheaters or cheaters can't trade properly.
 
So I've been testing how trade is working now...

You can trade 1 car or 1 car ticket per day but not both. So the old ticket trading system is now dead.

There is a max on how many parts or paints you can send but I'm not sure what it is.

If you delete the game save and try to trade again like with the birthday glitch it won't send. Now they have to make a new account for every car. This will severely slow down supply from glitchers and car values should now become higher.

how about receiving gifts? i can only receive 1 per day also?
 
You can receive more than 1 car but I don't know if there is a max...
 
it's after midnight and it still won't let me send a car... Still says upload failed... =/ So is the one car a day rule now one car every 24 hours?
 
just be happy cars aren't being lost anymore
 
Update, I waited till after midnight to receive three more cars to my account from people that sent me three cars earlier and all three were lost in space. We did not use any tricks, sent them the normal way. All of the cars got the message stating that the item has been sent. Trading is still iffy so watch out. Now I'm out 2 mil in cars because I thought polyphony finally got their **** together. I won't ever make the mistake of thinking they are competent again.
 
Today I descovered one important thing, i.e. from now on you cannot trader more then 5 colors a day :((( (I hope a day, cause you might not be able to trade more then 5 colors at all) you recieve after 5 colors upload error!!!!!!!!

PS my paint business in here is significantly damaged by that ****!

Why PD why limiting to 5 colors per day??????????????
 
Succesful trade tonight around midnight for me .. no glitch with 1 day car rule

I just found that out too. Sent 5 or 6 paint (didn't think to count) and got a Upload Failed message. I think I'm done with the trading 👎
 
STILL DOWN??? :banghead: 5 years for the game, 5 years for the bug fix? hmm

What I really want to know is if anyone can confirm that they have been losing cars if they just sent one a day like they are supposed to. Let us know if the first thing you tried to gift did not show up.
