Most cars in GTPSP were still as standards. That's why the Countash is Standard, that's why the Veyron is standard. There are very few (if none at all) cars that are completely new to GT5 and are standard...

Crazy. Looking at it from the outside. I never would have thought that, since it had that spoiler. Surprised that "other" racing sim don't feature that..

The Jaguar XFR '10 was not in GTPSP and is standard. I'm baffled at why PD didn't take the time to model it in Premium form. Shame though, it really is a good looking car.

What spoiler are you speaking about? The moving spoiler/air brake? GT4 had cars with actuating parts behaving realistically, can't remember off hand cars with moving spoilers in GT3, but GT4 definitely had them. GTPSP has a lot of cars that were not in GT4, many of these cars I tend to come across in the UCD and I say to myself, I don't remember that thing in GT4.

Bugatti in GTPSP looks very good and well I just play it to watch the replays, because it just looks so cool to see cars with moving/actuating parts in action.

No,as (like everyone else has said) it was first in GT PSP. Could be premium soon...
The Bugatti isn't the only one though. The Mazda Furai appeared for the first time in GTPSP, but it's standard in GT5.
I would like them both to be premium (along with the Lancia Stratos).

Was the veyron released by the time GT4 came out? I don't think it was, I'm not a fan though so I could be wrong.

There are a few cars new to GT5 which are standard, not sure how many but they are probably standard due to not having the time to make them premium as I believe it took them six months to make each premium car.

May have originally been modeled for GTPSP but never made the cut for whatever reason. It looks as detailed as the Countachs and Veyron, i.e. a step above most of the other upscaled GT4 Standards.

but that a 2010 car...it couldn't be in GTPSP.

A 2010 model year car is likely to be sold in 2009, and will no doubt be identical to a '09 model. The XFR has been around since January 2009. Plenty of time for it to have been modeled for GTPSP.

GT4 was released in late '04 early '05 depending on your country and the Veyron was first put into production mid '05-ish? Someone else might have exact dates but the Veyron was put into production after GT4 was released as far as I'm aware.

Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong someone.

It is?

Also like to add all you need to do is have some common sense and look at the release date of the car and game, before asking stupid questions like this...

PD only premium modeled cars they were actually able to get their hands on for a period of time to detail them.
I'm assuming the veyron, which was already modeled in GTPSP, was not available to them to be remodeled. This could be due to money, time, availability, etc.

No. The first game ever to include the Veyron was NFS pro street.

Veyron 16.4 '09

GT4 Release date : 2005

Enough said.

Seriously you have a brain use it.

To be completely honest, I don't see why people make such a big deal out of the bugatti being a standard model car.. Yeah it's fast, but is it such a decent car?.

It is quite possibly the greatest road car ever made. So, yeah, it should probably be a premium.

I can see what your saying. While I am not sure it is the "greatest" road car ever made in the purest sense of the word. I do agree that from an engineering perspective it is way ahead of anything else that is/has and probably ever will be produced. I mean with peak oil and all that, I doubt W16 engines with 4 turbos are going to be part of the future, unless they find a way to make internal combustion engines run on sea water.

I think (and hope) he meant some kind of prototype of the Veyron.

Anyway why is this thread in the GT5 section?
