"Watch Thread" option does not seem to work

This issue happens to me only with that thread.
I'll have no problem getting alerts from a thread I haven't read or replied to in over a month, but I won't receive alerts from a thread I read every day, the same one that's also been re-followed yesterday.

To clarify, are you having a problem with literally "watching" the thread, or do you feel you are not receiving all the alerts you should for it?

If the latter, keep in mind that alerts probably don't work the way you think they do. See my detailed description here about how the system functions.
