Yes, that is a four-wheeled bicycle powered by hydrogen. With looks that could silence the "retro" crowd, and technology that could silence the "green" crowd, were can you go wrong? Give it some road worthy wheels and tires and a motor capable of freeway driving and I'd definitely rock it.

...but those wheels are awsome. Everything about it is cool except for the silly blue lights in the engine bay. Just cover it up with a white panel like the rest of the car.

That is the best concept I've seen in almost a decade. I love it. As Philly said, I'd rock it. I'd even drive it as is even with those wheels. That's mega brilliant! But get me some road worthy wheels and 60~70mph motorway capability and I'd drive that badboy everyday!

only one thing is needed to ruin it completely, and this has it.. it's Mercedes Benz.

Wow, it is really a great concept. Its just... well its not a performance vehicle (presumption) but I love it.

{edit} I am curious about the brakes.

JCE
Bah, you're jealous! :D

nope. if this thing would hit production, it would have hefty price just because of that star in the nose.. not to mention that it would have atleast 2 airbags, bang & oluffsen stereo system traction control, stability management, air conditioning and by the time the actual engineers would have finished with it, it would be sold as 2011 SLK hybrid with range of 75 miles and 50 000€ list price.

Do you have anything good to say? Ever?

It's a radical concept that your favorite company didn't create, an undoubtedly laterally-thought out vehicle that embraces both extremes of the company's history. Any credit? Any slack?

Angry kitteh says NO I guess ;-) I'll still take one though - Love the look !

I wouldn't drive it unless it had a full CF monocoque.

Where can I sign? :D

I just can't get over how cool the spoked wheels are. Sure the skinnies may compromise braking performance somewhat, but it doesn't appear to have brakes anyway, so its all good. :)

With a top speed of 35kph or whatever it's supposed to have, you could pretty much stick your foot on the ground to slow it down, Flintstones-style.

Am I the only one who thinks this thing is horrid? I get the whole historic appeal thing, but taking the wheels from the motorwagen is going a bit far... It doesn't fit. It's like Sony doing a conceptual laptop made of bakolite. Maybe it's just me.

Wow, that's truly amazing. I don't want one, but... just wow. 👍

Retro is and has been the trend for some years now, and what can I say other than it rocks!

I love the style. If it was from a low-end company, and if they were to market it aggressively, I'd actually care.

Nope, it's me too. The wheels look absolutely friggin' ridiculous

Yeah, talk about light wheels. Those things would probably collapse under any lateral load. Now, maybe if it had an active camber thing going on....

I think they'd have plenty of trouble just trying to go straight with the condition modern day freeways are in, let alone trying to turn.

I think it looks awesome, to bad there isn't a real use for it. I wonder what it's crash test rating would be. Do you think it would hold it's own against an American SUV?:sly:
