We Need Clan Tags

I just recently started posting, along with GT5's release, but I've been lurking for about a year, so hear me out.

We need some sort of a "Clan Tag" feature. It would make organization 100 times easier. I can't tell you how many times I've been in a lobby with a ton of guys here on GTP and not known it until they mention it.

If there's an easier way that I'm overlooking or misunderstanding do tell. Thanks!

Ah ha! I did not know about that, but even with that being an option, I think it'd be easier to simply attach the three letters to your existing PSN. I hope PD catches wind of the idea.

VooDoo, I totally agree with you. Seems like it would be easy for PD to add this and save some of us a bit of trouble. I have also been lurking for a while and have very few posts, but I would like to race with respectful people who won't punt me off the track.
 
a tag feature we can change in the online lounge would be fine. it works fine in CoD. I mean i dont want GTP tag attached to my PSN and have to use it for 1PS games etc.
 
I would love the option for clan tags. Would make it easy to determine race teams (which I thought they mentioned was possible a while back). I have a seperate GTP PSN account but I can't use it because we are not allowed to share game saves so I would have to start all over again.
 
I am in the same situation as you OD. My PSN is CraigKast - it's the PSN I started using when I replaced my dead PS3 earlier this year. And, I don't want to have to use my GTP_xTaggerx tag (although I will if that's what it comes down to to race with the good folks here).
 
racing clubs would be the best bet -> have a central place i.e like GTPLANET. then within that there is a member list, various lobbies, leagues, chat, and a profile section etc.

SAme boat with you and OD and many others it appears. I created a new gmail account to create a new PSN account to create a GTP PSN ID but I don't want to gift one car a day to my new user ID and also lose all I have built up on my original ID. Arrrghhhhh!

For now the GTP PSN I'd is there but I have not logged on with it. I remain mponsig until further notice.
