so what is Carbolic Acid?

So, oxygen is only a gas when combined with other elements to form a gas molecule? What is oxygen on its own then?

Oxygen itself (O2) is a gas. At room temperature that is. It could even be a liquid or a solid, but the temperature would have to be lower or the pressure be higher.
 
Famine
Of course it helps that Titan is the only moon in our Solar System LARGE enough to keep its own atmosphere. It's 14,000 miles across, if I recall correctly.

It's not that big, if it was 14,000 miles across it'd be about the same size as the Earth.

According to this site it's radius is 2575km, so it's about 5000km / 3000 miles in diamater.

Which is still pretty impressive, it's bigger than the planet Mercury.

I meant around... D'oh! In either case I was wrong as it's about 9,500 miles around, compared to the Earth's 24,000ish.
 
Shock!!! Horror!!! This day will go down in history (well.... the 15th of Jan actually) as the first day that Famine got something wrong. From this day forth, Jan the 15th will be known as the "Famine got something wrong day"!!

That sounds a bit lame actually! Can anyone think of a better name for the day?

Famine Day sounds cool. We could celebrate it every year, with fireworks and all. :dopey:
 
sounds like a day that would happen in asia or some place where they could run out of food. it would be an inside thing for food. New vote: Famine Day?
 
I wonder if Jordan could officially recognize this or something. there should be like a calender page of just like "this day in history" kind of things, and then on Jan 15 (that was the day right?) it would be like "Famine Day. This day in history Famine actually answered something incorectly." or something along those lines.
