Vash - .45 Long Colt?

F1man - Not to be rude, but for future reference, it's the Spas-12, contrary to GTA's belief :indiff:

Solid - Nice gun, who makes it? S&W?

Yeah, like I said, I don't really know. I'll find out sometime what it says on the side of the barrel and tell you what it says. But I do know it is a .45. I'm pretty sure it a somewhat modified gun too.

Only .45's I know of are .45 ACP, .45 Long Colt, and .45-70 (Which could be the same thing as .45 Long Colt, I'm not too sure, but I don't think it is).

It's probably one of the two latter, judging from the size of the chamber.

It's a Smith & Wesson Performance Center M629 Birdsong Stealth Hunter.

I tried to get one here in California but they can't sell it here. They have to make it on the "California Compliant" list which means S&W has to send three guns to the DOJ for testing to see if it is not a "pocket rocket" or a "Saturday Night Special." They test the guns, keeping one on file, and destroying the other two when the testing is done. If it is not a properly functioning or too small of a gun, they will not add it to the list of guns that can be owned or sold in California.

The pistol is too rare and too expensive for S&W to try to add it to the list.:(

Oops, I forgot to add they have to pay something like $7,500 for the testing of the gun too, and pay another $3,500 to add it on the list if it passes, and send in $500 each year for each individual gun that they have on the list.

A large Jewel-encrusted sword, with many designs engraved in it. Pretty much the master sword from zelda with lots of diamonds and other gems in it.

I said the shotgun you were speaking of was the Spas-12, not the Spaz 12, as just about every website about GTA (3 & VC) has it listed, and I assumed you got it from GTA since the picture you had was from one of the games, but if not, sorry.

Hooray for run-on sentences.

Oh I see what you are saying now. :dunce: So Rockstar mispelled one of their guns? The Spas12 lmao.

No, they coded the correct name into everything else for GTA3, and (mostly) use the correct name for everything else in VC. I think it's just because they have the wrong people working for them when it comes to weapon names ;).

Or because they couldn't afford the license. Or because the cost wasn't worth it.

I'm relatively sure that you don't copyright weapons, you patent their design, which means that you can use the likeness freely in games. I could be wrong though...
