We always run a practice session at 9pm bst on Wednesday and goes on till people get bored, most it people won't be able to do Saturday as they are in another series
What will be the start procedure for Sunday? I'm assuming a full 16 mile pace lap is not how things will run? Maybe just run in formation around the GP loop and go green on the back straight just before the track joins the Nordschleife?
Circuit: Nurburgring
Laps: 14
Weather: Sunny (Day and Night)
Circuit Rules:
+) All cars will be GTE, Amuze GT1 turbo's
+) Race Start: It will be a rolling start, the start line will be the start of sector 3
+) Pit Exit, Pit line will be monitored so keep it clean.
+) Driving with damage, If you sustain damage during the race go at a pace which will not cause you to drive erratically, you will lose more time by trying to rush back to the pits and possibly cause an accident.
+) keep it clean and drive well within your limits, its a long lap and no one wants to be taken out.
I'm not going to race this one unfortunately. I'm just not feeling up for a 2 hour on a track that just gives me a headache. Sorry guys i was going to do it but I'm just not feeling it now. I will be at Monza however, if we aren't busy next Saturday.
I'll only be racing this round anyway since this weekend I'm free on Sunday evening, I'm racing in GTE because I want to see what it's like to drive it in a multi-class event, with LMP's flying past you and trying to cope with them around you, I think it will be fun.
