Sorry anyone who i caused a collision with. Most the race i was behind a Camaro LM or infront.

Once again sorry to the people i hit, especially going into the bus stop. I know it sounds bizarre but prior to race start i got my socks all wet when i went toilet (with water not urine) had a change of socks and they were slippy as **** and braking in particular became a nightmare!
Pity though because I reckon my strategy would have been very fruitful with some many running mediums at the start. Also Matt i was gonna file an incident report over our "tiff" at the exit of stavelot, but looking at the replay i'm gonna put it down to a racing incident (although you probably should have just yielded)

What a race in GTE, shame a couple of mistakes from me put an end to the battle with plux for the win, looked like another Vettel inspired win, well done on another win mate, that 1st stint till the pitstops was epic, me plux and pakos had a great battle :).

Pakos that was a good battle we had for 2nd near the end, I thought I had chucked my 2nd place away when I spun on cold tyres, But the fresher tyres helped me get 2nd place back. good stuff, and very good racing all 👍

My race went from going great to just being awful. Had a great first stint on the softs and made some good ground on most of the field.

After my first stop everything started going downhill. That's mainly down to lack of practice on the mediums although I had a few crashes too. Almost got 3rd but I threw that away too. Still enjoyed the rade though. Spa is an awesome track.

Yeah I got a good view from behind, from what I saw you had your front wheel alongside his door, but stavelot is tricky corner to pass,so memto had to close off abit and slow on the exit,I saw this so I took advantage to try and get past down the middle of both of you(memto ran wide),I wanted to avoid the astroturf so I wouldn't swap ends and colect one of you,so I was on the kerb and I got the lightest of taps, and somehow I got right front damage,it was virtually impossble to brake for the bus stop so I came in,and then for my next stop I had the pit bug,so I couldn't make a stop, this is the first time I've had this online, anyway my braking confidence really grew during practice just before quali, making my time 0.8 faster, but not enough to beat Jonny and Memto.

Anyway I kinda already posted my race report after I left yesterday.

I havnt properly Introduced myself. :P.

Hey Guys, Im TheKitten, Or know as Kitten. I'm running in 3 series at the moment, GRC, ITCC, WEC. Me and Dave met up in ITCC as Team Mates and i don't know if were continuing it. I'm a good driver, Taking in the Jag Spot. From Dave Recommendation Which i drove last minute without testing\Tuning. First race i was very impressed. Very very organized and very great and clean drivers. I think i was the slowest on the GTE Side.

I felt the same as you when I joined this series,I enjoyed my first race and learnt quite alot,Like you I was also called up relatively late to run in this round,as a replacement,I was informed on Thursday evening,I enjoyed the event quite alot,of course I was dissapointed with the pit glitch which ended my race early, but I enjoyed up til then,I think my pace was good, not quite fast enough to beat the 908s but still good,I was hanging on with the mediums at the start til I picked up the damage which put me on the back foot, then the pit glitch ruined it all,at the time I was fighting chozza and bastern for 4th,but my glitch left me no chance of getting a good result.Still I enjoyed the the race before that with great racing, and the LMP field at the start was relatively close,4 cars together fighting for position,I was at the back of that fight with a big gap after 2 of the audis and the bentley got caught up in incidents,so the GTE cars were behind me,noticed Dave had a nightmare, picking up damage on 2 occasions, with the Bentley and later at Pouhon(which I noticed on the map).

I make these for every series I do. Looking forward to my first race in this series! So you guys know, this will be my first LMP ride in a series and to ensure the safety of others I will be doing an extreme amount of testing to get used to the power and handling of the car. Thanks again and I hope that we can have some good racing!

Well then,I trailed a low downforce setup for Daytona Road, performed quite well, and used front downforce to balance it out.

1. Nin-chin, its only a small infraction but on the warm up lap if you can stick to your double stacked position near the end of the 3rd sector then it will stop confusion behind you
2. Chozza_32, you were past the pits and made a dangerous move across the race track travelling backwards, this is not accepted, you MUST drive around the full track if you have missed the pits
3. Nin-chin, It is very unclear what went on with the lap 4 incident, what we suspect is that you could not see plotnik on track and therefore did not see yourself drive into the back of him. If you have any information on the incident please PM the stewards.
4. Plotnik, Please be careful about rejoining the track, you caused another car to take avoiding action which could have resulted in a crash
5. Chozza_32, your move going into the bus stop causing a huge crash with lout was very avoidable, please take it easier when over taking GT traffic
6. ZovomirVanBasten, richyboy stuck to his line but as you were trying to overtake out of track limits it pushed him into the wall giving him heavy damage

Other notes
Text Box
– I do not care if you grandma’s cat died, you DO NOT use the text box at all during qualifying or the race, its stated in the rules, next time will be starting at the back of the grid. I had complaints from many people about the text box use and it was very off putting.
Oalithgow
Plotnik
Nin-chin
RSM-TheKitten

GTE drivers – There were far to many close calls when it came to lapping, STICK to the racing line! The LMP cars will find their way round you at some point, if we get help up behind you for a full lap then so be it but do not pull over or slam on the brakes as the closing speeds means we get very close to running into you.

Damage driving – I know that most people try and stick to a strategy when racing but it became very clear that people were nursing pretty heavy damage for a number of laps to try and save the strategy, this is putting other drivers at risk when overtaking, please try to refrain from doing it.

Any questions please PM me and i will be happy to answer them

That glitch is not the first time that has happened, it happened to me at Deep forest in S1, 8 laps in,

What do the "NC" and the "Ret" stand for on the points tables?? Just wondering. I will be adding the hosts later on tonight. If anyone else would like to friend me feel free to do so, just say "WEC" in the friend request.

NC is not counted, not complete 70% etc

Ret, is retired,

Okay thanks for clarification. Looking forward to Daytona :D super pumped! I am a multi-class racing freak in case you didn't know.

No this was very different, never seen the glitch quite so bad. You pit at Deep Forest featured a somewhat 'unplanned' entry, this often resulting in drive-thrus or no service (Anyone else have this happen during the hateful Tsukuba enduros?). If you watch Ninners in the replay, he tries to pit on several laps sequentially with absolutely no effect.
I will say this though, well done for trying to stick it out, you displayed far more patience and restraint then I could have. I think after the 2nd time I'd have been swearing constantly and the 3rd I'd seriously consider the PS3 departing the house from the window and by the 9th (which I think you made it to) I'd have taken the GT5 disk, grilled it so it was nice and corrugated and all the easier to smash into hundreds of tiny pieces.

Sorry about the warm up lap error, when memto got into his position in front of me,I(for some reason) decided to follow him,my bad.I do not remember an incident with a backmarker from my point of view,if it was at blanchimont was the only close call I had with anybody, but from my POV I didn't make contact,I suspect my connection may have caused that.Sorry for text box use,I just wanted to inform you why I was leaving.I would have hoped to watch the race replay, but I got a blank screen when I exited,so I just turned the PS3 off.

Really sorry about that one Richyboy, I really didn't think I was going to touch you at the time. I shouldn't have tried to pass when I went wide at Blanchimont though, you wouldn't have been expecting me to come past from that side.
