What day suits everyone?

It was a very good race last night. Not only because I won :) but because I had iwasere right behind me the whole race. It can't have been more than a few seconds between us the whole race. And I can not believe my tires held for 23 laps!
Lapping LMPs wasn't a problem but it was hard to let them pass clean the last 2 corners. I'm sure the Viper driver (richy?) Agree :) I was suddenly on his rear after last turn after being passed by LMP but decided not to pass him. Gave him a bump and backed up.

First, I would like to say, "Get well soon", Furi. Second, I'm still peeved that my connection DC'ed early in the restarted attempt. Third, just before that happened, I got hit from behind at the last corner and run into the end of the pit wall by oalithgow on our classes' 18th or 19th lap.

Pardon me mate, but that was just a light bump cause i miss my braking, and also y stayed behind you cause of that, and also! you didn't even tuch the pit entry lines. You don't need come and bitch about that insignificant incident "man" also, i was more than a second faster than you, and you keep blocking me all the time i was behind you after i entered the pit, i had to hustle a lot to make a clean pass over you 👍

Great racing last night lads, cape ring went much better than I thought it was gonna go. The restart benifitted me as I could go for a 1 stop from there, but it didn't suit some drivers strategys, oalithgow in particular, his Camaro was very quick but i suspect it was heavy on its tyres so I think he had to make an extra pitstop.

haha, yes mate, but the camaro wasn't that hard on the tires, it was my error i miss calculated my pit strategy :nervous:

I don't buy that, "man". That was a far harder hit than you say it was. Don't try and play innocent with me again.

No, it wasn't lag, i actually bump'd him in the braking zone, but it was noting, i also believe i bumped the ford GT in the same way, both where braking miscalculations, my bad!

PS. Forgot to mention.... That was a great race, specially in the GTE class, i entered hating that track and left loving it.....congrats to the winners!!
 
I think if we had a larger prototype field, the traffic issue would've been much worse. Good thing we only had three prototypes in the race.

Yes it would have been a lot more intense and most likely a lot more incidents as well, but due to many peoples circumstances a few could not join us :/ but onwards and upwards to the next event!!

One thing i would like to say to everyone is Thank you all for being great drivers and having the skill and decency to not rage quit even if you were not having a great race, we have a lot of time and respect for people who do that so please keep up the good work people!!

Braun and oalith after reviewing the replay we did not see anything that can be classed as major contact, if you are talking about the first race (before the DC) then unfortunately we can not do anything about that as we do not have the replay and we were only counting the first race as the grid for the second. Please do not argue again on the thread as you have both been given warnings about that before.
 
Can people please state which Class they would like to drive in, as there seems to be a lot of car hopping and new drivers which is causing some confusion when it comes to race day.

If you can just post up either GTE or LMP that would be great :)

If you can also confirm if you can be a full time driver or part time driver

Part time driver GTE only. Any of them IF I have it with tune on

Didn't know we had to be inside white line entering pits too. Only out of it. If iwasere had done that, he would probably have won the race

No, this was after the restart. Just before I got DC'ed. And that pit exit is definitely a question mark for Cape Ring South and Full. Hopefully if Cape Ring appears in GT6, PD will fix that issue.

Unfortunately then on the replays we have there is no such contact, there is a very small bump on lap 3 which was just racing, but oalithgow is about 3 seconds behind on lap 18 and then on lap 19 you DC for me and jonnyb before you reach the final corner :indiff: we even have it on recorded replay because you came so close to whipping me out lol
 
Just out of curiosity, what brought about the decision to run the Nürburgring race on the 24-hour layout?

I think it was just "why not" and "this will be a challenge" lol, its something different since no other multi class LMP/GTE thread is running it

Since I am back from our road trip now, I guess I'll be back in the Audi R8 as a full timer :scared:

Also .... love the videos ... kudos to whomever is doing all the work 👍👍

Should be interesting, although I admit tire wear is concerning me, given that the Racing Softs we currently run will be worn out after about 3-4 laps on the LMP cars and not much longer on the GTE cars.
Also, are we going to run the all-daytime/all-dry-weather Nürburgring 24h layout or the Weather Change/Time Change version?
