It was a good race and a great ending of the series!
I had a fun time chasing down Simba. After a while he made a mistake at the hairpin turn and I could get the lead. From that point it was pretty smooth sailing. While the lead felt secure I started to lose focus and somewhere between 5-10 minutes before the end I flew past a distance marker and thought "Hang on, what did that sign say? 50m? That can't be right!" Next thing I knew my Cobra was planted in the sand and Simba retook the lead by about 4 seconds. There was still a chance to close that gap before the end of the race, but unfortunately I tried too hard and ended up plowing through a lot of the corners, ruining my lap times. Still, I'm happy about finishing second, and I really enjoyed the series!
