Hi!

This week I´m gonna do lot of testing with the car. I like the S2000s very much, and the Mugen is one of my "cruising"cars.
I don´t have the car yet, but I´m gonna win it now.

BTW Kent, what is it with you and cabriolets? :D

See ya in the forest!

Yet another car I have never driven....yippie.

I just took 5 recon laps with the car and after last week's wonderful Miata this car is like a kick to the balls....it could be worst....I'll give this week some effort (but already miss the Miata)

Hello.

I drove about ten minutes with this, and all I can say is, wow! Without tweaking the setup, the car felt very balanced and calm. There was light understeer, but I believe that it can be fixed easily.

I haven´t driven this car ever too scuderia. I think this will be a great race. The track is very fast and the car too, of course.

Now, you all should just ignore this post and go to do some driving in the Deep forest. Remember to wear your seatbelt.

Will be back with times.

No doubt this will be a fun race....the s2000 is supposed to be a good car. The settings I have on mine right now favor someone who like a loose backend, I don't (I use CFM's race garage to get my cars).

Just gotta set it up for my "feel"....

DF is a great circuit though....you really gotta nail your line, especially in 3 specific areas....otherwise you ar ein the "forest" or pinball'ing off the walls/rocks....

:-)

I won't have time to really sit down and drive this race until later in the week (lots of training for my real life racing at night now)...but if it rains (like it is forcasted to every night) I'll be doing laps in the spoon...

so far ive got
T1 0'23.883 T2 0'51.881
still plenty of places to make up some time i think.

cmon guys, post some times so i know how much im getting flogged by!! lol

I will come back with some initials just to get things started... but it's early in the week, so you know how it is. lol.

Good luck this week you guys.
Later. :D

Oh btw, we are to use the road car spoon S2000, but to be honest, I don't think the race car can keep up in the first place. :trouble:

T1 0'23.364 T2 0'51.518
still more time to be found, but its 3:35 am here, so im off to bed me'thinks
nice track/car combo 'kents, im enjoying this alot

Curses! You got me... :D Lay off the "elder" though, please... :D

Still, the principle is sound - use the prize list to find out where the car is available...

Hmm.. Let´s see..
24.1//51.4
I have a problem there just before the first tunnel. The left-right curve just before the first sector is a killer for me. My backend loses traction there, and I lose time. Tuning tips, anyone? :)
Need to do some more racing tomorrow.
Laters all

aiight guys, i fixed my Ps2. I re-calibrated the laser, (nothing else was working. i managed to get a few laps in after downloading a garage and so here are my sector times so far:

T1: 23.466
T2: 50.430

i am still working on how hard i can push the car during turns while keeping rear traction.

it's pretty easy to get clean laps with this one..the first lap I got is a 51.2 on the T2 but I wasn't driving with all my enthusiasm(kinda down right now) so I'll give it a shot maybe tomorrow if I'm better

First session and:
24.001
51.534

Right now this is more challenging than enjoyable. :irked: Hope that will change, when I adapt more to the car and track.

Great  to see so many T-Times being posted!!! I'm busy this coming weekend helping out at a new Radio Control Raceway so thought I'd best put in a "Serious" effort early this week. Best "Clean" times:
T-1 = 22.989
T-2 = 49.862

Found a Spoon Road Car on a memory card that had been there so long it still had the ASM set at 10 & the TCS set at 5!!!   Have seen nearly identical times w/2 very different set-ups so hoping someone will post a really GOOD set-up I can try. Think I've kinda "Hit a Wall" :banghead: w/both of 'em!

@ RSCosworth: Try "Coasting" for just a second there to let the weight shift & allow the front end to "Bite" a little.

BTW: Am hoping max HP is 444?

👍 Good Racing All...UB57 :D

Am hoping max HP is 444?
That's also the max I have. My times though are not as good as yours : 24.0 / 51.2.
I'm not yet convinced that settings make a huge difference : I started to practice in a Mugen S2000 (380hp instead of 444hp) and I had about the same T times.

@ NielsG : This is my first day in the Weekly Series, and it seems that we're again having close times. In a Mini or in a S2000, slow drivers remain slow drivers :D

im in the same boat as UB57. im leaving for a small vacation before i head home for the summer on friday morning so i got ot get my racing in early. luckily i have tons of spare time on thursday.

Welcome to GTP, Beru.
Some people do speak french on this forum, but many others don't so the "official" language is english.
I didn't spend much time on GTPlay, I just posted some times (my nickname there is Gus) because I always had the feeling when visiting the site that I was arriving in the middle of something. I should pay you a visit when I have some more available time.

Best clean save after 1st session:

23.064 / 49.571

Should be able to take some more off of here if I get on it again later this week:)

I'll post my setts for Bob since he wants to try something else...of course you're all welcome to try 'em out;)

13.0/12.0

If you search around GTP here you can find the fix for just about any PS2 problem, unless it's totatlly dead with no power. If it's just disc read errors it's a rather simple fix.

Hey Flat-out,

Thanks,
i understand your point from GTplay, it's a site with challenge beetwen team, where teams fight to win the Cup. as you know you can post time without team too.

Come see us, i'm in team TR-6 and we are looking for some new memebre in the team. www.forumtr-6.fr.st

I hope have some more time tonight to run with the S2000.
