Weekday NASCAR Series

One thing that always bugged me (and some of you guys, definitely) is that nearly all NASCAR series on GTP are held on the weekends. For me (and some of you) weekends are busy instead of the weekdays. So I thought about hosting a NASCAR series on weekdays.

Clean but aggressive racing is encouraged.
Headsets will be disabled to reduce lag.
On Daytona and Indianapolis, horsepower will be reduced to 750hp (or the closest limit).
The point system will be a modified 2011 point system with no points for retiring (regardless of any issues, such as the infamous "Black Screen")
We will run on Racing Hard tires for each race.
When you sign up, you make a commitment to behave and to follow the AUP.

You may choose one of any NASCAR in the game, and duplicates will be used in their 2010 versions -

Jeff Gordon #24
Tony Stewart #14
Jimmie Johnson #48
Dale Earnhardt Jr. #
Juan Montoya #42
Carl Edwards #99
AJ Allmendinger #43
Joey Logano #20
Kyle Busch #18
Denny Hamlin #11
Brian Vickers #83

I hane been looking for a good NASCAR series to join but all of them want the same specs which are not good for competitive NASCAR racing. I have been racing NASCAR from day one. Its all I do so I think I can speak from experience. Let me break it down for you.
1. Headsets - You need them for communication, expecially at Daytona and Indy.
2. Lag - Limit room to 10 or less people. Turn off visual damage.
3. Hard tires - Your only asking for alot more accidents as these cars, for most people, are difficult to drive as it is. You add hard tires to the equation, and your asking for more trouble.
4. Engine limiting - Don't really believe in it, but its not a deal breaker for me.
These are just a few tips and are just my opinion. Like I said, I have been racing NASCAR for a long time, under all conditions, and these are the best conditions to make a good competitive race. Not trying to tell you how to run your series, just giving you some tips to make it better, in my opinion and experience.

I like what you are trying to say, but honestly,

1. Microphones are a very powerful tool in online racing. However disabling them prevents some people from talking randomly on their mics and frustrating other drivers. I know that GTP is filled with mature racers, but still. On a more important note, mics DO help reduce alot of lag. Explained below.
2. The more people, the more lag, but closer racing. For visual damage, that can be disabled with no problems. Regarding mics and lag, disabling them lowers lag by not interfering with connection. Also said before, people may have to talk to someone not playing the game. These may not be the best excuses, but they help explain.
3. I chose RH tires as they are more realistic. RS tires can be used on Road Courses, if RH are too difficult to drive. On speedways RH can stay, as cornering on them isn't that hard.
4. Just a thing to help things out and again for realism. It helps keep cars balanced on Indy Superspeedway. Example, by slowing cars slightly on the turns.
