Just so you know, RT, I'm pretty much ready to post the OP for my new RX-7 series, and I was planning on having it on Sundays at 4 as well. :/

:nervous:

We're at least a month out from starting, so I'm sure the time will change.

We need that Gt300 car in WSGTC  and im up for this, so now mule says he wants to go with the rx7s at the same times oh great

Will it affect the series if there is no RM version? Are you thinking of making it a "no tuning" series again?

Spec racing is the very definition of "no tuning" I believe..

MY NEW CAR HELL YESS. Dude I read that earlier and screamed like a girl. I was all, " THEY'RE BACK **** YES"

omfg I haven't been this excited for a car in a long time, I feel like a kid again. I think... I really think I might have to purchase this vehicle. It's a perfect amount of time away. ;_;

Hopefully they've learned something from Mazda though, and will continue to keep the price attainable rather than going on the year over year rise in power and price that killed the Supra.
Since this car is a Toyobaru and not strictly Toyota though the Scoobie boys should be able to keep things in check.
Still waiting to see what STi can do @ the Nissan Z price point though. 👍

oh, and as the owner of an '00 Focus ZX3 I'll NEVER buy the first model year of a new car again. The TSB and recall list on that car was never ending.

And I'd have to wait a few years anyway, the MX5 is only 6 months old after all... and I am getting rather keen on the aspect of being able to open the roof. Hard to go back to a coupe once you've had a roadster.

Yeah but Toyota and Subaru have been relatively good in the launch department so I'd just roll with the punches. The STi might be too expensive for me though so I'm not sure about that, fine with the base at 197hp. It'd be my first new car anyway so I'll be quite careful in the lead up to launch. I have 90% with a 70% chance of actually buying it

God damn it sounds amazing. I think I'm in love. Thanks a lot.

Well, that's one of the two reasons I'm still not even 80% certain I'm buying this car. It's not a deal breaker though, since this is a well known issue and new cars do come cheaper (relative to later years) since essentially you'll be compensated for being an advanced beta-tester by a bit lower price. The other reason for me - would I be able to live with N/A car after many years of driving a turbocharged one.

I think I have decided to make this a North America-only mid-week racing series.

More details to come obviously when we have the car in our hands. ;)

What time would that be then?

We're only doing one division in F4?

Hm, so I can't make this series. And more like two classes in F4 as in the HDC and FMSC?

I know it's still a way but what times were you considering for that, early or late Sunday?

Don't want to give out too much info yet, but 4pm and 10pm EST.
