Has there been a Special event in the past that forced one to buy some legendary car? Otherwise I doubt it will come. But a RA272 race would be really cool, e.g. at Spa or some other "classic" location :)
There's never been one that forced an LCD car, but the Group C event was one where the only special picks for it were in the LCD, it's just the event itself had no regulations.

Well, there's a first time for everything:

So glad I already have one because an idea of being locked out the completion cause you didnt want to spend 2 million+ credits for it is absurd. Should be a fun drive though

Daytona gonna be a funny one for me because I just did the harder GT Cup Gr. 3 version

Huh, that is indeed new (And abit pricey for those not in the millionaire club quite yet). Still, looking forward to it.

Also, its been about two or three months but time to bring back my 911 GT3 Cup build out of the garage.

using the ts050 hybrid '16 for the 800pp the 911 Carrera '95 for the Porsche and the euro races and the the gto twin turbo '91 for the japan race.

Well. Now i know where to put the 2 mil from today's closing TT.
Lucky you - I'm always already more than happy if I get bronze in a TT ;)

Rarely been looking forward so much for a Weekly! And it's the very first time that I wish gt7 had those post-processing filters like other games. I always found those completely useless, but for that RA272 event a sepia filter with film grain would be awesome :P

You I saw the Ring and at 1st I thought it was the GTRs again but Reading Is Fundamental 🤣🤣 so I actually read the rest of race title and saw it was the Porsches. If I get a chance to do this it will be either the 904 or 959. Not sure what to use for the other non Honda F1 races

the Daytona road course was easy peezey made it to end of lap 9 before pitting, the one make drove me up a wall its original tires was struggling with had to switch to a more grippier one and won it, had a very wet Porsche race at the ring had a tough time accelerating on the slick track, the gto twin turbo had some bad turbo lag, the euro race was simple

Mostly easy week with one exception. Sunday Cup you only need to worry about the M3s, stock Golf GTI was enough to win and decent fun to drive. Japanese 4WD Challenge is made easier by a lot of the cars being on CS tyres so I didn't have any trouble with a stock GR Yaris, biggest issue is them randomly braking on a few corners which can catch you out. Porsche Cup is a fun race with the possibility of rain, for me it only started right at the end of the lap but in previous attempts I remember it raining much earlier. Used a stock 997 GT3 which took a couple of tries to get the right grid as if the yellow GT3 starts at the front it's much harder to win. Few of the AI spun at Pflanzgarten so watch out for that, might also gift you a win depending who does it. The 959 can be very quick if it rains hard, was still fast for me in the dry. One-make is a nice idea but ultimately I didn't really enjoy it as there's 2 AI that are considerably quicker than the others, they were running low 2:28 in the fastest race I saw. Everyone is on RH too so the cars feel like they have too much grip and aren't as interesting to drive as they could be. I did manage to win with a stock RA272 after several attempts and some setup changes, fast laps were mid 2:27 and the field wasn't as quick that time thankfully. It seems if you can split the top two up they will lose multiple seconds a lap on pace so once you're in second you're pretty much guaranteed to win. WTC 800 is always fun with it getting dark at Daytona. Straight line speed matters so there's a lot of tuned road cars that can work well here as long as they'll do 5 laps on fuel. Went with a swapped 4C and won by 20 seconds without much trouble, pitted for tyres and fuel on lap 5.

Cars for this week:
