It depends on the car, I haven't raced yet, but I doubt I'll be starting in first gear. I don't think I've raced this drag series at all using first gear? Maybe?

Same here. Don't think I have started off in first yet. We've been using decent powered cars so it's faster to start off in the next higher gear (less gear changes)
 
Or even third... :)
 
I made an 10'340 last sunday the first time that I triedi think i'm going to make better than that\
and V8ETER, i tried with the 3th gear, this makes loosing a lot of time:(
 
Finally some time to do some runs!

9.756 without touching my transmission or LSD or weight balance yet...

I think 9.5s are possible. I haven't touched the transmission yet because I'm trying to find the best suspension setup with automatic transmission tests

I've been using automatic to get the fastest suspension setup i could. I normally do manual in higher gears but for whatever reason this car just won't do anything for me.

9.603 so far... so close lol

Excellent time! I found that shifting really late was best on this car. You got me beat :)

10.156 for me, busy week, this is just the best of 7 runs or so.

I'm using the wing, LSD, TCS, and weight balance this week.

Cluch-Triple-plate/Flywheel-Racing/Carbon Driveshaft-Equip
TSC at 2/No Wing/Limited-slip Front and Rear on all is at 60
Wight-Stage 3/ Port Polish/Engine Balancing/Stiffness.

If I ever have to write that much down again, I think I'll kill myself. I hate writing. But oh well. I have the replay for it too. And I took off in 3rd gear. With the NOS on all the time. I was using a Black Audi RS6. Cause it looked better then the red one did, I got mine brand new, I thought it would be eaaier to tune that way. I also did an oil change and car wash on it. And I put diffrent rims on it. Cause I like to do that. :lol: But there you go.

You don't have to post your setup unless you win a week, and thats only to substantiate that you're win is plausible(getting exact times is hard, but when given a setup it's easy to get close)

So I went to a friends house and left the game on the menu where you can start your run on the strip. My dog must have gotten ahold of my controller because I came back to set my greatest time on a drag yet: 325'36.539

Yes, you read that right. 5 hours.
 
just posting to see what time it is there, coz here even though it says what time i posted it is actually 2pm so if i have time a might have a better run
